Am I the only person who thinks staying under your parents’ roof while trying to pursue your dreams can be incredibly limiting?
And I’m not even talking about having unsupportive parents.
There’s just something about living in your parents’ house that makes it difficult to experience complete independence. You still have to consider their rules, opinions, routines and expectations.
I genuinely think there’s a different kind of growth that happens when you leave home and start figuring life out yourself.
It’s almost like you discover a version of yourself you didn’t have the room to become at home.
Maybe I’m wrong, but I think some of us need a little distance from home to discover our full potential.
