Just got off my second 8 hour shift of the day. Vtubing is not women only space and if people can't understand that this is the internet and people can be anonymous behind their avatars, that's not on anyone but them. One of my favorite Vtubers of all time @kaga_oren is a man who used a female avatar and voice. Oren didn't disclose anything about his gender and people made assumptions but we all went with it anyway because we liked OREN for Oren. That is the space we exist in. If you feel betrayed by someone maybe not being what they look like, you need to go touch grass and not be in Vtubing, frankly. I don't care if @ember_paradox is male or female, I barely know Ember. The internet is anonymous, people. Some of you didn't spend any time on the early internet and it shows. But the way it was handled was bad and underhanded, making personal shit into content. Really gross.

Strawb it might be time to step offline. I've always been a fan, but you're digging into people's personal lives to try to expose their personal stuff. And we're really going after people for fiction now? This isn't a female only space and we aren't entitled to that assumption. All this does is make me feel very bad for Ember.
