The enduring significance of Chromie Squiggles itself, Snowfro’s pioneering exploration of code as artistic medium, is what ultimately made this moment possible. I’m interested in the point where photography, gesture and generative ideas meet.
My Frequency of Light series grew from that curiosity, using a small lamp to create forms that exist for only a moment.
The photograph is what remains of that gesture.

Every Art Blocks 500 piece can be rebuilt from Ethereum with one contract call. Artist code, token seed, libraries, all pulled from chain and assembled into the finished artwork. AB doesn't have to be around for it to work.
Two things are off chain: thumbnails, the preview images some sites show. Traits, which come from running the onchain code with the onchain seed, so anyone can recompute them.
As long as Ethereum exists, the art still renders.
