If you're not listening to Practice Disrupted by @PracticeofArch you are missing out on great content! Caught up on three episodes, including the one below with @andurobert & @Merececarri, on my drive across Montana yesterday. Timely takeaways from each one!
We're excited that our episode with @lifeatslantis finally aired! Relistened to it this morning, and it was a great discussion with @Merececarri & @andurobert about the adoption of technology and its disruption on practice :)
As an architect, I often mark time by the projects I work on. Today I celebrated the opening of @BillingsClinic Bozeman with my family that has been 4 years in the making. Incredible project by @Cushing_Terrell, @EYPAE, @SandersonStew & more!
At dinner tonight with 3 other architects from across the country, including 2 I had just met, I realized in architecture, much like Montana, there are no six degrees of separation. It’s one. We all know the same people.
Excited to be back in DC for this week’s @NCARB committee meeting! It’s been a while (thanks pandemic), but a perk was meeting up with my @Cushing_Terrell teammate, Marlon, today & him sharing some of his favorite architecture.
Prepping for my drive to the AIA Montana Fall Conference includes downloading some of my favorite podcasts - @99piorg, Practice Disrupted by @PracticeofArch, @braverangels, @LeadMontana’s Listen First Montana, @coffeesketch, & Good Thoughtful Hosts by @Cushing_Terrell.
An incredible day celebrating the @BigSkyED grand opening with the @Cushing_Terrell team!
Excited to have Josh and @ShawnPelowitz on our senior leadership team at @Cushing_Terrell. Congratulations!
We're proud to announce the promotion of two team members to associate principal: Josh Hersel and @ShawnPelowitz. Both have demonstrated exceptional leadership in their markets and the ability to develop trusted advisor roles with their clients. Congrats, Josh and Shawn!

Observations from day filled with design awards.
1. Even Zoom jury deliberations with architects you’ve only just met virtually today are incredibly fun.
2. If design awards have specific criteria listed, you should be addressing them in your submission.
It was great to spend time in our new Seattle office the past few months while my partner was on maternity leave. Love our space - amazing views - and our talented team members that call the Pacific Northwest home!
Ready for the reveal? We've moved into our new office in downtown #Seattle’s #WaterfrontDistrict and can't wait to show it off. With a focus on reuse and adaptability, our #interiordesign team dreamed up a dynamic gathering place for team members and clients. Take a look...
Great conversation with Randy. Hoping there is a Part 2! #goodthoughtfulhosts

RT if you'll be there!
Architects, You really should include a floor plan with your design awards submissions. Your jurors are almost always architects and can ready plans. Especially important if you’re describing design goals related to the plans.
Sincerely, A Design Awards Juror
The latest episode of @Cushing_Terrell’s new podcast has dropped! Check out my friend Dayton Rush, landscape architect, discuss ecological design thinking on Good, Thoughtful Hosts.
