BYOP. Bring Your Own Power.
President Trump reinforced a significant shift in how large-scale AI infrastructure should be developed and financed.
“New and large, in some cases gigantic, Data Centers are mandated by me to make their own electricity, and give or sell any excess back to the local community, or grid.”
He also called for developers to provide a financial “dividend” to surrounding communities.
The implications:
- Hyperscalers taking greater responsibility for generation capacity and infrastructure costs.
- Dedicated generation, microgrids and energy storage becoming increasingly important to reliability and project economics.
- Greater emphasis on protecting existing ratepayers while accelerating AI infrastructure development.
This reinforces the broader market opportunity for Eos and domestically manufactured long-duration energy storage.
As power generation moves closer to the point of consumption, storage can provide flexibility, manage peak demand & support reliability across interconnected generation assets.
The shift is no longer just about securing electricity. It’s about financing, building and managing the infrastructure required to deliver it.
Trump’s comments reinforce that direction

Arguably the most significant operational update investors have received to date.
Line 2 increased from 1% of total battery production in Q2 to 17% in Q3, while achieving first-pass yields aligned with Line 1.
This is the first meaningful evidence of Eos successfully replicating its manufacturing process across production lines and scaling its manufacturing footprint.
More importantly, Line 2 continues to operate on partial shifts. GAAP gross margins improved 16–18 percentage points QoQ.
A significant milestone in validating the scalability of Eos’s manufacturing model.
🚨 Convert the backlog, Joe.

Folks, big picture…
As of today, I believe the market has this wrong. The market can be right about the price today & wrong about the opportunity tomorrow.
Congratulations to the shorts, the bears and those who have wanted to see this company fail. Including those with personal grievances toward Joe. 2026 has been great for you in terms of the top sentiment driver.. stock price.
Bulls have had their moments. Bears have ultimately won the equity battle thus far.
I don’t know what Q3 will bring. Or whether management can deliver the execution, growth and line of sight into 2027–2028 that investors deserve. But the earnings progress thus far favors the bulls.
What I do know is that the market is demanding battery storage solutions to a growing list of problems. That demand isn’t going away.
There’s also an undeniable government component to Eos playbook. A politician’s public image is arguably their most valuable asset. We’ve seen elected officials publicly associate themselves with Joe and Eos’s American manufacturing footprint. This, amongst many things, including FPUSA.. has truly not taken shape to be factored.
2026 has brought significant valuation destruction despite tangible QoQ operational progress.
Execution risk undeniably remains. It’ll never go away. But Q4 2025 earnings left a dark cloud over management credibility and projections. That confidence still needs to be rebuilt & it starts with hitting 2026 guidance.
Investing requires conviction when the market disagrees with you. There’s a difference between a broken stock & a broken thesis. As of today, this thesis is alive.
Until proven otherwise, I still believe Eos represents one of the most compelling pure-play opportunities in the BESS markets.
I can’t guarantee what happens in a few weeks. But the opportunity remains significant.
Congratulations to the bears. You’ve won on equity value in 2026, to this point.
-> But this company is still very much alive.
Good luck

Here’s your rational post
The initial NYSERDA update is very disappointing.
The broader takeaway from the announcement is less about Eos specifically & more about where the market currently stands with Li-ion.
BUT…
It’s a devastating initial blow to Eos investors because NYSERDA was arguably the ONE tangible pipeline anchor investors had real visibility into 2027. We’ve been waiting all year.. during a very tough stock performance year.
The market opportunity is enormous. Not winning NYSERDA , as of now, is not the problem. We will win many deals & lose a lot more deals. That’s business.
But not having enough demand visibility & line of sight beyond it with fragments of storytelling.. no one has a clue.
That’s the problem.
Until management provides that visibility, the reaction from investors & the market is warranted.
Q4 is next week. No mistakes can be made.
As a fan of baseball, here’s a pretty sad stat that shows the generational shift we’re watching in pitching.
The 300 win career is dead.
Once Justin Verlander & Max Scherzer retire, look at what’s left behind them.
There is essentially an entire missing generation of pitchers accumulating the traditional counting stats we grew up watching.
Aaron Nola is 33 years old and we’re already down around the ~100 win range.
Velocity in the game is higher, injuries are more frequent & innings continue to decline.
Analytics have completely changed how games are managed, bullpens cover more innings & organizations are managing workloads from Day 1.
We are legitimately entering an era where some of the best starting pitchers of an entire generation finish their careers around 150 wins.
Not because the pitchers are worse, but because baseball simply doesn’t allow them to accumulate the workload anymore.
300 wins wasn’t just a milestone. It belonged to an era of baseball that is basically gone.
Personally.. as an old school fan of the game, I hate what analytics have done to how we evaluate pitching. Give me wins, ERA, innings pitched, complete games, strikeouts & a starter who wants the ball into the 7th, 8th or 9th.
I understand the value of WAR & the advanced metrics. But there was something different about judging greatness by what a pitcher actually accumulated over 15 or 20 years, while taking the ball every fifth day & going deep into games.
That version of baseball is disappearing & 100mph is the new 90mph, yet with zero arm durability.
I look forward to corrections within the game. The ‘market’ always shifts & corrects.
