Fun day in the lab! We hosted our first CE382H/CE377 (NDE & SHM) lab demo @ut_caee Students moved from theory to hands-on ultrasonic testing. Excited to have undergrads learning alongside grad students, building the next generation early.
Today we held the first group meeting of the SSRL @ut_caee for the new academic year, and also celebrated a special milestone: 10 years at UT Austin! It was wonderful to welcome our new members and to hear from our current team as they shared progress on ongoing projects.

Today, I made “cannolo,” a traditional Sicilian dessert. The key ingredient is sheep ricotta, which can be quite challenging to find in the US, as cow ricotta is typically more common. A big thanks to Lira Rossa for making this special ingredient available in #ATX.
