Arkansas-Monticello’s mascot is the Bill Weevils, as your fun facts of the night.
Syracuse gets a 53 point win over CCSU!
2-0 in the McNamara era.
Doty with 18 points, Morano had 16 & Kiyan had 14. Syracuse shot 64.4% from the field.

I applied for an internship with this page about a month ago & part of the application was a “sample piece.” I really like some tools on their website/have used their graphs so I thought it would be cool.
I did my profile on Tyler Tanner & included stats extremely similar, some would say exact. I included the screenshot from my profile article below. Obviously, didn’t get the position which is totally fine I like using different websites/sources for my page analytics anyway.
I get it happens on X a lot & if they came up with it on their own, great. It’s one thing to take my tweet but to take work directly out of my application to use as work you act like you did yourself is very low. Frustrating!
Tyler Tanner jumped from 5.7 PPG and 1.9 APG as a freshman to 19.5 PPG and 5.1 APG as a sophomore.
Even with that increased production, the Vanderbilt guard maintained a 62% true shooting percentage and a 2.71 assist-to-turnover ratio.
He was the only player nationally to average 19+ points, 5+ assists, and 2+ steals per game last season.

Yesterday’s @RateGame_Sports Game of the Day is Queens at LMU! Gritty performance by the Royals on the road! 9.2/10✅
Still really impressed with Queens last night. Nasir Mann answered back late to cut it to 2 points, biggest shot of game.
In the write up yesterday, I picked Queens and mentioned their high powered offense & concerns on defense. If they could lock in defensively, their ceiling becomes higher.
They currently on KenPom are running the 17th fastest offense in the country & have gained +0.40 WAB from their two wins.

Queens at LMU later tonight at 10PM at Gersten Pavilion in California 🧵
Queens: Received 5 first places votes in the ASUN Preseason Poll, Avantae Parker named Preseason Defensive POY.
Monday's opener: A 103-98 win over Winthrop, Queens never trailed and led by 18 in the Field of 68 Marathon.
All ASUN team honorees Jordan Watford had 26 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists & Nasir Mann had 19 points.
Concerns rose when Winthrop hit 10 threes and scored 60 in the second half. Queens only shot 65.4% at the line.
Queens offense last year ranked 17th (84.5 ppg) and their defense was 10th worst (83.5 allowed) in the country. They hit 10.1 threes per game which ranks 30th. They went 6-10 on the road.
LMU: Ranked sixth in the WCC preseason coaches poll behind Santa Clara, Saint Mary's, San Francisco, Seattle U and Pacific.
New players:
- All Wright (G, Xavier): Preseason All-WCC. He was MVC Freshman of the Year at Valparaiso (15.5 ppg), then shot 42% from three at Xavier.
- Zion Sensley (6-8 G, UCSB): 10.8 points and 7.5 rebounds.
- Jevon Porter (6-11 F, back from Missouri): Back via the Oct. 20 injunction and on the preseason All-WCC team. He averaged 12.5 and 7.2 for LMU in 2024-25.
- Depth transfers: Jasai Miles (Indiana), Mazi Mosley (LSU), and forwards Christian Humphrey-Rembert, Andy Sigiscar and Donovan Rivers.
- Freshman: PG Zamir Paschal, Oregon's top-rated prospect.
- Returners: Aaron McBride (6-6 F, 7.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg, the lone returning starter) and AJ Thomas (5.2 ppg).
This is the first time these two programs will face off. Queens starts a three game road trip with this game, 4 if you count the Marathon with LMU, then Oklahoma State and BYU, with its home opener Nov. 14 against Wofford.
This will be a tough but doable task for Queens, who comes in as a 8.5 point dog. Queens has the better defined roster, a star in Watford & momentum. LMU has home court, a rested team, and a shooting/ rebounding retool that's mostly untested. Queens' defense and the travel are its biggest risks.
My pick: Queens #RoyalsRise

The @AmericaEast - Metro Challenge begins! 🏀
It's a battle between two northeast conferences 🤝
A combined 17 games tip-off on day 1️⃣

Tobin Anderson gets his first win as Tennessee Tech’s Head Coach. They dropped 117 with all 5 starters in double figures.
They also put up 88 against Mississippi State in a loss on Monday. Sneaky team.
Three Intriguing Results around the NCAA:
St Joseph’s beats Longwood, 82-73. Longwood hung around here but the tough shooting (37.1% FG & 47.6% FT :0) is likely what costed them. Jaiden Glover-Toscano had 22 points & 8 rebounds for the Hawks.
Wichita State beats CSUN, 79-67. The duo of Will Berg (26 Points & 16 Rebounds) and Kenyon Giles (21 Points & 8 Assists) had encouraging results tonight. CSUN went cold shot 1/11 from three in the second half.
Northern Kentucky beats South Dakota at home, 102-94. NKU shot 9/14 from three. Noah Pagotto dropped 30 points for the Norse, Willie Foster had 22 points & Eric Acker also had 22 with 12 assists. High powered offense in the Horizon.
