Bad string of events for SLU: Bradley is on a 14-2 run for a 35-31 lead and Quentin Jones was just helped off the floor with a limp. He missed the Iowa scrimmage last week with a sprained ankle.
Josh Schertz takes a timeout with Bradley within 29-23. SLU up to 8 turnovers. On the positive side, the Billikens are 11-for-11 from the line.
SLU defense has been disruptive so far with 3 steals and numerous deflections. Bradley is shooting 33% and has 6 turnovers.
Kellen Thames with early success attacking the basket for 5 points. He looks like he could do that all night. SLU leads 10-6.

Judge Jason Sengheiser said today he would "work as quickly as I can to get you guys an answer" in the Robbie Avila vs. NCAA case. Story at stuonslu.substack.com
Josh Schertz on chance of Robbie Avila gaining eligibility and space being created on the SLU roster.
“If the roster cap is lifted I would sit down with him, and if that’s what he wants to do, Robbie’s been great to us and we’ll certainly do everything we can to work with him.”
Round 4 of Robbie Avila vs. NCAA has ended. The SLU staff was in court as support. Judge says he’ll rule as quickly as possible with no timeline.
Josh Schertz said he plans to use 9 players against Bradley in Friday. The Nos. 8/9 players right now are Laczkowski and Hutson. He might go deeper.
Looking forward to getting a comment at today’s media session.
The @macstlouis announces Josh Schertz as “Sports Personality of the Year,” to be presented Nov. 30 at the Jack Buck Awards. That night, the @StLouisBBWAA will present its Baseball Man of the Year to both Jordan Walker and Alec Burleson… and Rookie of the Year to JJ Wetherholt.
Robbie Avila was in court this morning only to have NCAA request change of judges. That move had been revealed before the hearing so we didn’t even have to stand for the judge’s entry. He signed papers and it was over.
