But there's no evidence removing him preserves him from getting hurt. Baseball is stupid.

Yes because people in charge of other countries are responsible for the demise of this country. Such insane logic but everybody falls for it.

One can hope, that's about all we can do.

Oh 100%. I was talking EVERYTHING. Cell phone bills come to mind first but everything. Restaurant meals, everything!

The cap is going to go up and attendance has nothing to do with it. They are making big money on sponsorships and various other revenue streams. I've never been more convinced they don't give a damn if people attend. It's gravy if they do.

Gouging is a Canadian custom that has been in place ever since I can remember and I'm half a century.

No they can't. Albertans rejected it in the name of giving all of their money to politicians. You get what you voted for....just like the rest of us idiots.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but Canadians have happily chosen this path. It's all avoidable but we aren't the least bit interested in confronting it and demanding better from our rulers.

This, in a nutshell, is why I can't watch baseball anymore. Stupid people are in charge and 'well everyone does it' is not a good reason to defend it.
The Rays pulled Drew Rasmussen after four innings and 48 pitches. His replacement, Kevin Kelly, has allowed three consecutive singles to the Nos. 7, 8 and 9 hitters, and the Brewers now lead, 2-0.

Adam Carolla tells The Atlantic to “F*CK OFF” and “EAT SH*T” for demanding you forgive the people who tried to destroy your life over a COVID shot. He shows their previous headlines on the screen, and it’s not pretty. CAROLLA: “Of course all the people who wanted everyone drawn and quartered for not getting vaccinated or wearing a mask want a f*cking amnesty.” “Suck my dick, f*ck off, Atlantic, and eat sh*t, because you guys all deserve whatever the f*ck you’re getting.” “BUT THE MAIN THING YOU’RE GETTING IS NO ONE’S GOING TO LISTEN TO YOU EVER AGAIN.” THE ATLANTIC THEN: “The Anti-Vaccine Right Brought Human Sacrifice to America” “Unvaccinated People Need to Bear the Burden” “Vaccine Refusers Don’t Get to Dictate Terms Anymore” “Some Americans No Longer Believe in the Common Good” THE ATLANTIC, YEARS LATER: “Let’s Declare a Pandemic Amnesty” “We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID.” First of all, forgiveness comes AFTER you apologize. Your headline should be “We’re sorry. We acted like monsters.” Not “we were in the dark about COVID” and didn’t know any better. You didn’t know any better because you CENSORED people like us. Screw off Atlantic. No Amnesty.

He won't be signed. The Jets hate him and aren't trying anyway.

For sure. Not Laine.

Turns out he is the best to negotiate with Trump. He will wait until after the midterms and force trump into a deal he doesn't want to sign.

The NHL will gouge until everything flatlines. It's not that hard. Also ... sponsorships are way up and that makes up a huge chunk.

I think Canadians have a ton of money or else they would be a bit less agreeable to what seem to be punishing and crippling policies by government.
