We launched two products that make it significantly easier to integrate staking into any platform: the stakefish Multi-Chain Staking API and the stakefish SDK.

Glamsterdam is set to bring ePBS to Ethereum.
Now: relays hold the block and report the bid.
Next: builders stake 1 ETH+, bid over p2p, and the protocol enforces the payment. Relays become optional.
512 validators check each payload arrives on time.

Ethereum has 15% fewer validators than a year ago. It also has 22% more ETH staked.
Staked ETH: 36.11M to 44.06M
Active validators: 964K to 817K
Consolidation explains the gap between validators and stake. Pectra's EIP-7251 raised the max balance per validator from 32 ETH to 2,048 ETH. One validator can hold what 64 used to.
Three things for stakers:
1. Validator count no longer tracks stake.
2. A smaller validator set means fewer messages and signatures across the network.
3. Merges run through their own queue. That queue holds 616K ETH today.
Solana just switched consensus. 🏔️
Phase one of Alpenglow is live, and Votor now finalizes blocks in milliseconds instead of seconds.
Big day for @solana and the @anza_xyz team. Here's what changed, in 22 seconds.
🤖 Made with AI
Alpenglow is now live on Solana mainnet. ⛰️
Finality just went from ~12.8 seconds to ~150ms.
The biggest consensus upgrade in Solana’s history, built by @anza_xyz.
TowerBFT ran Solana consensus since 2020. Today it retired in one slot. 🏔️
Alpenglow is live, with a finality target of ~150ms.
Congrats @anza_xyz and @solana !

stakefish is now running @get_optimum’s mump2p on Ethereum mainnet.
Faster, leaner propagation means stronger performance, less bandwidth, and more rewards captured.
Proud to build with Optimum as they push decentralized networking forward. Boosted.
🤖 Made with AI
The Optimum team is pleased to announce our first mainnet deployment, mump2p on Ethereum. With mump2p, data moves across all of Ethereum 2-3x faster, boosting validator performance and network health.
$3.4B of Ethereum stake is already being boosted by mump2p, and we’re now opening up free access for all Ethereum node operators.
This week in crypto 🐠
Alpenglow hits Solana mainnet October 21. The upgrade swaps TowerBFT for Votor, targeting 150ms finality, down from 12.8 seconds today.
Plus four more stories worth knowing:
04 / Starknet says it is actively considering leaving Ethereum to become its own L1, aiming to be fully quantum-resistant by 2027.
Nothing has been decided yet.

More SOL is being staked, and there’s more to earn beyond protocol rewards.
Solana’s staking rate climbed to 69.5% since June. Over the same months:
Priority fees: $8.43M → $18.85M
Jito tips: $2.73M → $5.12M
Protocol rewards are only part of what stakers can earn. Where you stake decides how much of the rest reaches you.

Oct 21: Votor replaces TowerBFT and Solana finality drops from ~12.8s to ~150ms. 🏔️
Rotor follows in a later release. Here’s how the two fit together, and what faster finality means for users and validators 👇
It’s time.
Alpenglow goes live on mainnet-beta Wednesday, October 21, ~14:50 UTC.
18 months of work for a migration that happens in one slot. Finality drops from seconds to ~150ms.
Make sure to follow us @anza_xyz as we countdown to go-live.
