[OFFICIAL] Riot Games will provide financial support to non-partner teams that qualify for major VCT stages in 2027:
Qualifying teams will receive fixed qualification payments in addition to being eligible for applicable tournament prize pools.
Open and creator-led teams that retain at least three of their five players will also be able to maintain their competitive progress throughout the season.

Kiritych 🇷🇺 on the current state of professional Dota 2:
"Honestly, it's a bit scary that there was no TI announcement. It's scary that there are no announcements for tournaments like DreamLeague or this DPC system. I hope they're just working on something."
Prize pools on BLAST dropped from $1M to $750K, one event on Malta then online - "but nothing we can do. We just have to tryhard anyway."
