An inspiration to us all 🤩
@BelmontSoftball's Maya Johnson’s list of achievements is impressive: Perfect game, NCAA leading 0.66 ERA, and over 1,000 career strikeouts. She’s done it all while coping with a chronic autoimmune disease, and she’s done it for the only coach and team that believed in her from the beginning.

Loved getting to a part of telling this story. Maya Johnson's story is incredible. Many people know her as one of the best arms in college softball... but many might not know that she has been battling Lupus her entire career.... told no countless times. She has refused to be denied.
Worth a listen 🎧

"I'm going to play softball. You're not going to tell me no before I even get the chance to try."
@BelmontSoftball's Coach Laura Matthews, Brenna Blume and Maya Johnson share Johnson's journey with lupus and all she has overcome with @michellachester.
