I'm not the best at talking, but I hope you enjoyed our conversation.🙇‍♂️ I'm terribly shy, and when I'm nervous, I forget what I wanted to say or struggle to answer properly. I'm not sure I expressed myself very well this time either. Ehehe The truth is, I don't have any special talents or skills. I'm just an ordinary girl who loves chatting with people and playing games. Yet through so many coincidences and little miracles, I met all of you, discovered the joy of English, experienced different cultures, and received opportunities like this one. It's all thanks to the creators, friends, and people who have reached out to me and most of all, the fans who support me every day. I'm Japanese, with no roots in the English-speaking world. I simply love English. Because of my past experiences, I want to share happy moments with people wherever I am, whatever my circumstances. I don't want to give up on something just because there's a barrier in the way anymore. That's why I chose English as the main language of my streams: to connect with more people across languages and cultures. But it hasn't always been easy. "You're Japanese. You should stream in Japanese." "I can't understand what Peo is saying." I've heard things like this from Japan and overseas. And I worry, too. It hurts that I can't fully understand everyone I love, and I wonder if I'm making it difficult for you to understand or support me. Sometimes I feel terribly lonely. I don't think those feelings will ever disappear completely. I sometimes feel like I don't quite fit into either the Japanese-speaking or English-speaking VTuber community. Like I'm floating somewhere in between, unsure where I belong. Honestly, that can be scary. But even so, people from Japan and all over the world, speaking all kinds of languages, still come to see me. You chat, play games, and laugh with me. You support the things I truly love doing. I had to give up on many dreams. But you gave me new ones, even bigger than before. English and all of you made me who I am today, and helped me stay true to myself. Lately, I've noticed more Japanese fans enjoying English-speaking VTubers. If I can help someone in Japan discover that world, or help someone overseas feel closer to Japanese VTuber culture despite language barriers and time zones, I'd be so happy. I also hope to spark curiosity, connections, and understanding between Japan and the rest of the world through VTubers, games, and culture. That's one of my dreams now. Maybe I don't fit neatly into either world. But perhaps that's why I can be a little bridge between them. I'm still clumsy, still learning English, and still lose confidence sometimes. But I want to keep being myself, meeting people from everywhere, chatting and laughing together.
