โIf you had to say that it's going down to the third Test, day five, all three results on the cards, or two results on the cards, I wouldn't have believed it. But yeah, it's been a special series. It's ebbed and flowed properly all three games. Both teams, have edged ahead and clawed back, and there's been some mistakes, some really good things done as well. But it's been a cracking series, and hopefully it comes down to a really good day for South Africa tomorrow.โ
AUS have bowled 121 overs, in the field on a hot day, monumental partnership for the 6th week from SA but have kept their wits with two run outs. Australia being obdurate again.
SA v AUS heating up nicely. All three results on the table close to the end of the 4th day. I canโt call it. #SAvAUS

Arsenal news update
- Calafiori, Rice and Tzolis trained today
- Madueke not ruled out, will depend on Saturday's session
- Arteta "very disappointed" Dowman appeal was turned down, says Arsenal lucky he avoided a broken foot and warns it will keep happening
Well stated!
I think tackles like these should be a red card (I know they never are). This is what Shawcross was trying to do with Ramsey and Taylor with Eduardo, they were both trying to get the ball but do so with unnecessary force to intimidate the player and โleave one on themโ. The problem is, as we saw in those two cases, you get it ever so slightly wrong and weโre talking ambulances and oxygen masks. Itโs the same reason youโre not allowed to drive 100mph. Going in with the force adds absolutely nothing to the act of winning possession or the tackle itself. Itโs intended to intimate but but you get it ever so slightly wrong youโre looking at a serious injury. Referees need to get out of the dark ages with this stuff, stop fussing about technical areas and whether a throw in takes six seconds instead of seven seconds. Protect players and punish violent conduct properly ๐
Big day for SA. Enough runs on the board to defend or a capitulation. Conversely do AUS have the fortitude. Good series. ENG beware. SA good side at home.

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldnโt have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didnโt. He doesnโt stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

Obama tonight on his Cheesecake Factory line: "They mobilized a whole of government response to that joke. Not to inflation, but to that joke. The White House even called the Secretary of the Treasury. This is the man who is in charge of the economy. The person who's supposed to be figuring out how to make your life more affordable. The guy who's supposed to be figuring out how to lower inflation. And reduce interest rates. They told him he should hold a press conference in front of the Cheesecake Factory."
Letโs just remind of ourselves of Dan Smith and a reckless tackle that wrecked the career of Abou Diaby 16 years ago. ๐ก

Shocker of a night for Arsenal. So poor in front of goal.
Not a fan of Arteta having those words with Dowman as he went off. Hope he watches that again and admits he made a mistake to Max. He really should.
A night to forget for the champions. A night to remember for Fleetwood.
