I was reflecting on 2025, and some baffling things.  One that kept coming to mind was 6 7.  I don’t get it. So, I talked with my 7-year-old granddaughter, who uses 6 7 in conversation.  During that talk this came out: What is 6 x 7? … There you go. You’re welcome. Happy New Year

Does this assume that the prof is the only source of learning material? I believe the informal interactions with classmates teaches just as much. How do we replicate that in hybrid/online?

I understand. I suppose my Q is, "Is the School a building or is it the people? Can the cloud be the school?" Granted we don't have all the tools yet, but we should. There's nothing about the building that is education. As a library / community, yes, but not the teaching.

Re:QQ When I started working, some time in the previous century, we took coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and the year’s work had an ebb and flow that allowed for recharging. The constantly on mentality of today demands some kind of change. Maybe QQ. #AVintheAm

Just heard Jan.21 will be Lincoln Alexander Day. I had the pleasure to meet him often when he was Chancellor at #UofG #Guelph. Great man.
