Hackers also hacked social media IMO

They sent 2,000 soldiers to “rescue” 4 soldiers sent to Haiti to “save” 12 million Haitians.
Keep believing that myth.
El Salvador sent over 2,000 soldiers to Haiti to rescue four missing aviation technicians military soldiers.
Bukele says it’s a rescue mission. But 2,000 soldiers for four men raises a serious question: how far will he go?
If the goal was to help Haiti fight gangs and restore security, it would make sense. Haiti needs help. But this is not framed as help for Haiti. His logic is unusual. He is willing to put 2,000 of his own soldiers at risk just to rescue four men?
What if the four men are found dead? Bukele has warned that a much stronger operation is coming if they are not returned alive. What does this mean for Haitian sovereignty? What does it mean for innocent people in Haiti, including women, children, and men? Many of these people are poor and have no other options or anywhere else to go.
Do the math: 2,000 soldiers for four men means 500 soldiers per person. What happens if one Salvadoran soldier is killed fighting the gangs? Will Bukele send 500 more? What if two, six, or more soldiers are killed? When does this stop being a rescue operation and become full military control in Haiti? El Salvador does not have the money or resources to maintain full military control in Haiti. So, if that happens, which country will be financing the operation?
There is another risk no one is discussing. Gangs are not limited to Port-au-Prince. If the fighting becomes too intense there, they will move and hide across the country. Salvadoran forces will have to follow them, and the conflict will spread to other departments, putting even more Haitian civilians at risk.
Many Haitians support Bukele because they see him as the man who defeated gangs in El Salvador. But the story is more complicated. Before his 2022 crackdown, his government was accused of making secret deals with gangs. The U.S. Treasury, El Faro, and ProPublica reported on these allegations. However, Bukele rejected them.
His operation did reduce murders, and many Salvadorans feel safer. But Haiti is different. El Salvador is smaller and have two big gangs. Haiti has coalitions controlling different territories.
And unlike El Salvador, Bukele’s mission in Haiti is not about capturing gangs.

Strange somehow I don't see a single reference to reparations in Miliband's tweets
Ed Miliband lecturing the public on “having the bravery to have honest conversations about our history” is a masterclass in performative Westminster cowardice. His selective version of honesty carefully edits out the historical facts that undermine the establishment narrative of perpetual national guilt.
An honest conversation would acknowledge that ordinary British taxpayers only finished paying off the monumental twenty million pound debt incurred under the 1833 Slavery Abolition Act in 2015. For nearly two centuries, working-class households financed the eradication of the trade through their taxes. An honest history would remember the Royal Navy West Africa Squadron, where thousands of British sailors died of yellow fever and combat while hunting down slaver vessels on the high seas, or the destitute Lancashire mill workers who chose starvation over touching slave-grown American cotton in 1862. None of these sacrifices ever feature in ministerial speeches because Whitehall is incapable of celebrating working-class moral backbone.
The glaring irony is Miliband’s own parliamentary record. While he expects the British public to prostrate themselves over historic sins, his own bravery evaporates the second he is faced with the Crown. Throughout his career, Miliband has reliably backed the Sovereign Grant to safeguard royal finances and repeatedly taken to the dispatch box to shower the monarchy with reverent adulation. He praised the royal household for embodying a “quiet, dignified sense of duty” and hailed the Queen as “our nation’s constant” while formally offering his “loyalty and devotion” to the Crown.
The institution he lavished with uncritical praise is the very entity that granted the royal monopoly charter to the Royal African Company under King Charles II and James Stuart. Yet rather than having the courage to scrutinise the historic wealth of the Crown itself, Miliband waved through royal funding settlements and led his benches in choruses of “God save the King.”
Dumping retroactive imperial guilt onto ordinary Britons whose ancestors were toiling twelve hours a day in northern coal mines and cotton mills, while voting to preserve the financial privileges of the Crown, is classic SW1 hypocrisy. Preaching contrition at an international summit while passing the moral bill to your own taxpayers is not an act of courage; it is the cheapest form of virtue-signalling on offer.

With ongoing RN layoffs in Ontario, we’re seeing situations where ONE nurse is caring for TEN patients in acute care. It should be one nurse to four patients. This is not sustainable for nurses or patients. Nurses are bearing the brunt of these cuts, but patients pay the price too. We need safe staffing, not more pressure on nurses to do more with less. Are we really going to keep watching this happen and do nothing? #onpoli
With all that decentralized technology and Ai stacks maybe someone needs to implement a replacement for $$. Whatever happened to Copiosis and open value networks? Nurses and doctors are needed paid and working in the public sector.
There was a Haitian president who built social housing he was exiled at gunpoint by the US marines. Another afterwards built highways and hydroelectric projects, he was assassinated.

Salvadoran invasion of Haiti a test, the yanks want to try one of his vassal states capability to attack other nations. An army attacking another country using gangs as an excuse, gangs armed and funded by USA. The same USA that allowed Bukele to stage his show.
