Of course, this is all satire. But if you're horrified by the idea, ask yourself: why is letting people die needlessly somehow less horrifying than this? 6/6
We always hear that the economy is what matters. What is an individual life against market efficiency? With this system, no one dies in vain. We exit with dignity, and in death, we still give back! 5/6
Consider the economic benefits: the beef industry thrives, food production costs go down, and even the most destitute among us finally generate wealth. Our families, in turn, could receive compensation—one last paycheck from the system that failed us. 4/6
But what then? Surely, in our final act, we should contribute to society, as we have been expected to do our whole lives. What if our remains were repurposed? Not for direct human consumption (perish the thought), but for fertilizer, livestock feed, and biofuel? 3/6
In order to relieve this unnecessary suffering, the government should provide humane self-release pods. A sleek, efficient, corporate-sponsored way to transition from burden to benefit. No more prolonged agony—just a clean, dignified exit. 2/6
With Medicaid potentially disappearing for some of us, we face a dilemma. Without access to life-saving medications, many will die—slowly, painfully, and without dignity. But what if there were a more productive solution? 🧵1/6
