This, this, this. Not every aspect of life is meant to be optimized. I don't want an 'easier' way to write. Writing is difficult, and that's okay. There is no way to speed run knowing somebody. Things take time - as they should. Efficiency is the language of machines.
Someone could probably write a book (if they haven’t already) about the cycle of technology productizing the removal of friction in the name of convenience only for us to discover that the friction was a load-bearing part of the social compact.

A disturbingly large portion of this site seems to believe Living Life is inherently harmful and traumatizing
One thing I find so unconscionably awful is the normie idea of a "break-up." I can't imagine spending years loving a person and then saying "yeah, just pretend I never existed." If suicide is murdering the future, then a break-up is killing your past. It's a totally inhuman act.

i get this convo but, women being able to independently control their fertility is arguably one of the most important things we have achieved in modern feminist history. its just not worth degrading when there is an active crusade against women’s reproductive autonomy right now
