American exceptionalism is not ours for the asking, nor is it our divine right. Every generation must EARN that phrase anew, or we lose a little bit of that exceptionalism and hollow out its meaning.... (1 of 2)

We may not be friends with the US right now, but that doesn't mean we don't love our American friends and family ❤️ Canada remembers 9/11 🙏🫂 We stood by you 25 years ago, and we still would, even now. You have our thoughts and love as we remember ❤️

I wonder if he knows Green Lantern dies and gets his job taken by a black man
In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might beware my power... Green Lantern's light!

There is a ridiculous amount of hate for women out here on X today. Not one of you would be here without them. Have. Some. Respect.

Amber passed away. She was, I don't know how old. I'd let her out the door. Sometimes she needed a boost. Had doggie dementia. This is not a sympathy post. Just love them while you have them.

Florida power outage. Power goes out. Everything dark. 45 minutes later: "Your power is out." "We expect to have it on at xx:xx." Traffic lights are out. Not encouraging. Police cars are present. "Yep, the traffic lights are out."

If I had half as many young nubile women bursting out of their shirts and wanting my attention "back then" as I do now on X, I'd never come up for air. Or I'd think I'm wanted for my conversation. Until i wasn't. Then I was. 😅😂🤣

I’ve spent years talking about how this country treats veterans. Maybe it’s time I disclose why it’s personal. I’m a 100% service-connected disabled veteran. America loves veterans in speeches. Flags wave. Politicians salute. “Thank you for your service” rolls effortlessly off the tongue. Then comes the part nobody puts in the campaign commercial. Veterans fight through appointment backlogs, paperwork, claims, appeals, examinations, bureaucracy and systems that too often seem designed around proving you don’t deserve the benefits you earned. We shouldn’t have to become lawyers, investigators and professional form-fillers just to navigate the government that sent us to serve. Veterans aren’t asking for charity. We already paid the bill. Some paid with careers. Some with their bodies. Some with their minds. Some never came home. Patriotism isn’t how loudly America thanks its veterans. It’s how America treats them after the parade is over.

Working with Dolly on “Home Sweet Home” was one of the true highlights of our career. We can still hear her voice saying, “Well, how about that, Dolly and Mötley at #1?” Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the inspiration, Dolly. Our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and fans around the world. With love and respect, Mötley Crüe

You can place whatever political label you’d like on me, but I would rather tell you where I’m at in life… Some of my views have changed as I have lived, listened, and learned. Others may change in the future. This is simply where I stand today. Women should have the right to make their own choices about their bodies and their futures. I stand with the LGBTQ+ community. People should be free to live and love as they choose. It bothers me when someone waves a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag while trying to restrict another person’s freedom. We need a secure border and a fair, reasonable pathway to citizenship. Becoming an American should not take 10 years. Beans belong in chili. Always. Government should not control every part of our lives. It should support people and strengthen three essential pillars: public health, public safety, and public education. Marijuana should be legalized, and property taxes have become too high for too many families. Law enforcement has my strong support. Officers face difficult situations and sometimes carry the emotional weight of those moments for years. My years in public safety have also taught me the value of prevention. We should travel upstream and help people before distress becomes disaster. Responding will always be necessary, but preventing tragedy is better. Candy corn is not acceptable in any way. Businesses should be able to succeed, but not by squeezing the workers who helped create that success. When corporate profits climb, employees deserve fair wages and an opportunity to move forward, too. No one should go hungry in a country with our resources. That includes children, adults, families, and older people. America should remain a strong leader, but we cannot solve the world’s problems alone. Lasting change requires countries working together against those who choose to harm others. Public education dollars should remain with public education. Public schools serve every child, regardless of income, background, ability, or individual needs. Taxpayer money should strengthen those schools. Families are free to choose private education, but public funds should not pay for that private choice. Honesty and accountability should be expected from public officials. If they cannot openly explain what you are doing, perhaps they should reconsider doing it. Elected offices should have term limits. Serve, contribute, and then allow someone else the opportunity to lead. Diversity strengthens us. Different backgrounds and experiences help us see things we might otherwise miss. I would rather meet people with an open hand than a clenched fist. Healthcare should be available and affordable to anyone who needs it. Insurance, medical care, and prescription drugs cost too much, and a serious illness or injury should never financially destroy a family. No one should have to choose between seeing a doctor, filling a prescription, buying groceries, or keeping a roof over their head. When someone is hurting, we should care for them as a person and as our neighbor. Whenever we can, we should #HelpMore 🇺🇸

Hi, My Name Is Gandalv, and I Have Trump Derangement Syndrome. It started innocently enough. Someone announced that a 50 percent tariff on imported goods would be paid by the exporting country, and I opened my mouth and said that this is not how tariffs work, that the American importer pays it at the border and passes it on to the American consumer, and that a president who does this is essentially fining his own voters for shopping. The reply came within seconds. TDS. That was the diagnosis. Not an argument, just three letters and a shrug, the way a doctor might say “terminal” and leave the room. So I have decided to stop hiding. I am standing up in the church basement with the bad coffee and the folding chairs, and I am saying it out loud. I have Trump Derangement Syndrome, and the first step is admitting that you find the following things deranged. I find it deranged that a man imposed tariffs on Heard Island, a territory inhabited exclusively by penguins, and then explained the formula on a cardboard chart in the Rose Garden. I find it deranged that he wanted to buy Greenland, threatened to take it anyway, and then acted surprised that Denmark, a NATO ally that lost soldiers in Afghanistan on America’s behalf, was not flattered. I find it deranged that Canada, the country that shares a continent, a hockey rivalry and a nine thousand kilometre undefended border with the United States, was told it should be the 51st state, and that this was meant as a compliment. I find it deranged that a hurricane forecast was corrected with a Sharpie, that disinfectant was floated as an internal remedy on live television, that windmills were accused of causing cancer, and that the Gulf of Mexico was renamed. I find it deranged that the men who beat police officers with flagpoles on January 6th were pardoned as patriots, that the Defense Secretary posted strike timings in a group chat that happened to include a journalist, and that a foreign government offered a 400 million dollar aircraft and the answer was not no. I find it deranged that the East Wing of the White House was demolished for a ballroom, that Zelensky was shouted at in the Oval Office for not saying thank you enough, and that NATO allies were told their protection is conditional while the actual adversary was told he was doing a great job. And yes, I find it deranged that all of this is defended by people who will pay more for their groceries, their cars and their phones as a direct result, and who will call you sick for noticing. Here is the thing about TDS. The symptoms are reading, remembering and doing arithmetic. There is no known cure, and frankly none of us are looking for one. So if you have ever winced at a tariff, sighed at a Sharpie or asked what exactly the penguins did wrong, you belong here. You do not need to whisper. You do not need to hide behind a burner account. Come out of the closet. There are more of us than you think, we are not ashamed, and we saved you a folding chair. Proud TDS sufferers, welcome home. Stay deranged, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1
