It's been repeatedly welfare is not ballooning, to suggest billions of cuts in 1 year means very drastic cuts not protection.
Reform are sounding like nazis, Farage saying if he got into power he would make MPs sit in parliament 24/7 to force through mass legislation and remove the Lords.
Hitler dismantled democracy.
The Enabling Act (1933) gave Hitler absolute power to pass laws without parliament for four years.
They say they would force schoolchildren to sing the national anthem daily.
At their conference they physically assaulted protestors whilst Farage laughed.
Jenrick’s actual speech: "Those in need, pensioners, and the vulnerable will always be protected... we'll make reforms carefully, protecting the severely disabled."
Left-wing Twitter's interpretation: "Literally 1930s Nazi Germany."
The absolute state of online political discourse when pointing out a £50bn spiralling welfare bill gets met with total bad-faith hysteria.

The only way this next generation doesn’t come to realize that their parents and the adults charged with their care failed to keep them safe from a health destroying virus is if their health is too damaged for them to comprehend what happened to them.

The UK's Migration Advisory Committee found no evidence that EEA migration reduced employment opportunities for UK-born workers on average.
That's the conclusion of a major government-commissioned assessment.
Why is the opposite claim repeated as established fact?

7⃣ Nigel Farage passionately defended the idea that we could be like Norway, a Single Market country, in 2016.

The rewriting of 2016 needs challenging.
❌ The referendum ballot did NOT ask: “Should Britain end freedom of movement?”
It asked whether Britain should remain in or leave the EU.
Nothing about leaving the Single Market.
Nothing about the customs union.
Nothing about ending free movement.
And during the referendum prominent Brexit campaigners openly cited Norway and Switzerland as models for Britain outside the EU.
🇳🇴 Norway is in the Single Market and accepts free movement.
The Leave coalition contained several completely different versions of Brexit. The public was never asked to choose between them.
So it is simply not accurate to retrospectively turn 17.4 million Leave votes into 17.4 million votes specifically against free movement.
That interpretation came afterwards.
And if Britain is now deciding what relationship it wants with Europe, voters are perfectly entitled to decide again with the actual choices made explicit.

The UK had lower immigration when we ALL had Freedom of Movement.

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared.
Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

An oxymoron
According to the right wingers Britain’s borders are wide open for everyone to come in.
Now, according to these very same people - Andy Burnham wants to open the borders
(the same borders that are already opened wide)
How can you open something, that’s opened? 🤷♀️
