‼️ BREAKING: Journalists hid an Airtag in a rare book shipment and confirmed Amazon to be one of the buyers behind the bulk orders destroying rare-books to feed their AI.
They tracked it to Amazon's LAS8 warehouse in Las Vegas, home to VGT3 (see logo below), a scanning operation feeding Amazon's AI training data, where workers say they cut the bindings off books to scan them faster.
Amazon won't say why the books are destroyed.

Hey Elon, this is The_Patriot_Guy checking in.
I'm a regular guy on here who loves what X has become, the last real place for open talk, truth-seeking, and actual free speech. But I've got to be straight with you: some of these recent policy moves and enforcement changes feel like they're straight-up ending good communities over the actions of just a few bad actors.
Look, the deeds of a handful of rule-breakers shouldn't mean the innocent ones who are following the rules have to pay the price. That's not fair, and it's not smart.
The principle here is simple: go after the violators directly. Suspend the real troublemakers, limit their reach, demonetize the bad faith stuff, whatever it takes to hit them where it counts. But don't slap broad restrictions on everyone else. Don't let overbroad changes to Community Notes, visibility, monetization, or community features make the good actors suffer with crushed engagement and broken spaces.
We're the ones building value and real relationships on this platform every single day. Blanket measures like this just discourage regular folks from showing up and speaking their minds. They chill the exact kind of open discourse that made X different and better.
X got strong because it empowers individuals instead of choking them with top-down control. Let's keep that edge. Refine the tools so they nail the bad actors precisely, without all the collateral damage to the rule-following users and the communities they love.
I appreciate the big vision you've got for this platform, Elon. It's why a lot of us are still here. Hoping you'll take a look at these changes and make some adjustments that protect the innocent while still dealing with the guilty. Keep X as the home of maximum truth-seeking and real conversation for all of us who play by the rules. Maybe a little more human interaction will go a long way. Robots get it wrong, A lot! Might be too early to completely hand over the reins to R2-D2.

The “presence of a baby or child is very off-putting…”
No, Jill, your lack of parenting skills is “off-putting”. If your children are annoying even ONE person/stranger in public— you are an asshole. Children are people too, correct? All people, (children included) in Western society have a responsibility not to infringe on others.
Children, (esp babies) cannot control their emotions.
That is your job. Unfortunately, yes, YOUR JOB.
Imagine if you actually PAID for someone to watch your children…just for 20 minutes… so you could grab a coffee and relax. Seriously, PAID for a minder.
Just a small 20 minute respite. That is all you needed.
YET, some entitled Mommy-Blogger type (ie @JillCo) decides that your serenity isn’t as important as her’s, being able to slog her screaming kids everywhere.
We love children….we have them... however, unlike yourself, we teach our children how to behave in public.
Advice? Get a Kuerig.
