@ATT I have been trying to get my AT&T fiber service moved since Friday and I’m about to switch to @CoxComm. I’m tired of hours on phone and chat. I need escalation as I have now moved and have no internet connection. Install order: 24-772634777325547 was supposed to happen today, now I get a message they are not coming and don’t know when they will. If someone needs to be here, then that’s not an answer I can act on. @CoxComm says the can be out this afternoon
Finding out that @coinbase is now in the weather prediction wager market. Interesting being able to bet on natural disasters like tornadoes. What are your thoughts?
On this day (May 5) in 2002. Happy, Texas, south of Amarillo, was impacted by these tornadoes. Here’s my video from the day: youtu.be/7CUHElvnnjQ?si=zQUM… #tornado #stormchasing #storms #tornadoes
On this day (May 3) in 1999 I left work early to drive to southwest Oklahoma to hopefully see a tornado. I ended up seeing 10 or so. My video from the day is at youtu.be/tOO_jOJSoOg?si=8umY… #OTD #tornado #OKWX

#OTD One year ago today I watched this night-time tornado near Pampa in the Texas panhandle. Watch for the power flash at the end. – at Norman, OK
Short lived lowering on leading edge of storm west of me near SW 164th and Santa Fe in far south Oklahoma City #okwx
Spent yesterday evening watching the new #Twisters movie at the Moore IMAX with a few hundred weather friends, former coworkers and OU meteorology classmates, and stormchasers. They had a live q&a with the director and stars in New York. Pretty cool hearing cheers when people in the audience were seen in the movie and in the credits The movie is what was expected, lots of loud tornados. This was a great, fun experience! #twistersmovie
Watched the SpaceX launch of the GOES-U weather satellite, and then the booster landings today. Incredible sights and sounds. Didn’t expect the two double sonic booms from booster reentry to be so loud!
About 1 hour from SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch of GOES-U NOAA weather satellite at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Got a great spot to be able to see both launch and landings of the two returning boosters.
