Happy Buffday… 70 years young today…😎 Here’s a big tailed ‘D’ model

‘Grim Reapers' F-15C caught powering through the Lakes last Thursday truly awesome flying…📸@48FighterWing @RAFLakenheath1
“WFFFFR 11” FLT a flight of four Seymour Johnson F-15E’s from the 336th FS ‘Rocketeers’ which are currently a long way from home which I caught in the Lake District last Thursday.
Note the pilots yellow helmets which has been a long tradition with the squadron dating back to WWII
Into the Blue….🔵
A 495th FS ‘Valkyries’ F-35A from RAF Lakenheath caught low over Ullswater in the Lake District on Thursday morning part of ‘Deck 1-4’ flight. @48FighterWing @RAFLakenheath1
493rd 'Grim Reapers' F-15C which I caught powering through the Lakes on Thursday for what was probably my last opportunity to catch them…📸@48FighterWing @RAFLakenheath1
Sixteen years I’ve been climbing hills in search of F-15C’s from the ‘Reapers’ & with time running out for the 493rd I thought I missed my chance. But yesterday in the Lakes it finally came to fruition, the weather may of not been up to much, but I’ll take this….💀
Last Eagles in Europe…💀
Special ‘Grim Reaper’ painted up to mark the end of operations with the 493rd FS & the end of 45 years of the F-15 as an air-superiority fighter in Europe. Caught returning to @48FighterWing last week in some lovely light.
Smokin…🤘’Fear 31’ caught polluting the atmosphere on Wednesday morning at RAF Fairford in a heavy cross wind. Greta would not be amused…😆

Known as the ‘Nuke Sniffer’ Constant Phoenix WC-135W is currently deployed to RAF Mildenhall & it’s always eluded me for photos in this configuration but I finally caught it in some beautiful light last Tuesday.

Another insane video of a helicopter attack on Hostomel, just outside Kyiv. All the helicopters came from the territory of Belarus.

In yesterday's video I lamented the fact that the only X-38 footage on the internet was in 1999 era 240p quality. Well, someone who worked on the project hooked me up with something better:
ZA141/B VC-10 K.1 101 Squadron, RAF Brize Norton
Painted in the original scheme envisioned for the VC10 tanker fleet prior to the adoption of the 'Hemp' colour scheme. It was the only airframe to be camouflaged as such, which I shot at Brize, April 1985.
So the BTF comes to end @RAF_Fairford they weren’t easy to catch with tricky light but I was pleased with what I managed to shoot. @DyessAFBase @HQUSAFEAFAF
