The current chancellor has NEVER had a job outside of a union or the Labour party.
Let that sink in for a minute.... He is 66 and has never had a proper job!
Anyone surprised that his budget was useless?

🚨⚠️ A migrant living in a London hotel accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a West End bar cried in court as he complained that his English is 'limited'.
Bashir Hotak, 23, was staying in a hotel in east London at the time of the alleged sex attack in Simmons Bar, Leicester Square, on June 29.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court charged with sexual assault and assault by beating.
He was assisted by a Persian interpreter in the Dari dialect and began to cry when asked to enter pleas.
After a break, Hotak's solicitor said he could no longer represent him.
When told he needed to find new representation Hotak said: 'How? I'm not well, I have very limited English, I'm being seen by doctors and I'm on a lot of medication.'
Amanda Barron, chairing a bench of three magistrates, told him: 'You Google law firms near where you live, it's not difficult.
'You've had the opportunity of a lawyer today and he can no longer act for you.'
She adjourned the hearing until November 10 and bailed Hotak on condition he does not contact the alleged victim or go to Simmons Bar in Leicester Square.
Ms Barron said: 'Your lawyer is no longer acting for you, I'm going to give three weeks in order to be back at court which gives you time to find a new lawyer.
'It's up to you, it's your life, your responsibility.
'If you break either of those conditions you will be arrested by police and brought to court in custody and the bail position would be reviewed.'
Hotak, of east London, is charged with sexual assault on a female and assault by beating. He did not enter pleas during the hearing.
He was seen laughing and sticking up his middle finger as he left court.

Perhaps this is the reason that the Scottish government has deleted any reference to the right to a healthy environment from proposed legislation!

Apparently we do not need a healthy environment in Scotland. What a disgrace the SNP is!

Funny experience today, I was at Waterloo when I overheard a French couple trying to find directions to the train for Gatwick. I grew up in France so naturally speak French, I gave directions.
As a parting comment I said
"Vive La France, vive Le Pen".
They laughed and replied
"Vive L'Angleterre, vive Farage".

EXCLUSIVE: Labour advisers at the Home Office broke the law by meeting candidates for a senior Civil Service job, the appointments watchdog has found.
A letter uncovered by this Substack reveals that Baroness Stuart ruled their involvement a “Fundamental Breach” - the watchdog’s most serious category - and ordered a targeted audit.
The rules exist to stop political advisers filling the permanent Civil Service with political allies.
Yet the government refuses to say how many meetings took place or whether the recruitment process was suspended or cancelled.

In England, in 1968, under Harold Wilson’s Labour government, free milk was ended for secondary-school pupils (generally aged 11+).
In 1971, under Edward Heath’s Conservative government, Education Secretary Margaret Thatcher ended free milk for children over the age of seven via the Education (Milk) Act 1971 (effective from the autumn term that year). This affected junior-school pupils (roughly ages 7–11) and earned her the lasting nickname “Milk Snatcher.”
Free (or subsidised) milk for younger primary-school children (typically under sevens) continued longer and was further restricted around 1980 under the Education Act 1980.
The 1971 change is the one most commonly remembered as the point when free school milk largely stopped for ordinary primary pupils in England. Education-uk Edp24

Labour and the Tories have spent years running Britain into the ground.
Only Reform UK has a real plan to save the country. 🇬🇧
There is something amiss with these figures: Approximately 10,577 sexual offences were recorded by police in Wales in the year ending March 2025 (the 2024/25 financial year). Statista
This figure (an 11% rise of about 1,113 offences from 9,464 the previous year) comes from Home Office police-recorded crime data, as reported by sources drawing on ONS/Home Office statistics (including Statista and Wales Online). Sexual offences cover a range of crimes such as rape, sexual assault, and related offences. Walesonline
*10,000 sexual offences have been recorded by Gwent Police since 2021*
These figures for sexual offences, if applying to the whole of Wales, should shock all of us.
But this is just ONE force. And these are just the sexual crimes that are reported.
With record reported times from making an initial police report through investigation and charging decisions to any chance of seeing their attacker appear in court - are we really still expected to believe that the shocking rise in incidents of sexual violence is down to 'increased reporting' by victims?
And when victims who do report realise they will have to keep their experience fresh in their mind for years, reliving it endlessly for investigators, prosecutors, judges and juries, are we surprised that so many withdraw from the process?
When women realise that their personal lives will be gone over by defence lawyers who seem to have trained as Taliban morality police, who can blame them for not wanting to stand up in court as their families and friends hear every irrelevant detail of their sex lives?
Everything we know about initial reports through to charging and convictions tells us that the 10,000 is the tip of the iceberg. And again - this is just one force.

One for all Restore members - sadly this post will not reach many of them because I block them on sight.
🔥 My PM, Nigel Farage 🔥 has responded to John Healey’s budget.
Rather than dwelling on what the Chancellor announced, he highlighted what was left unsaid, and the gaps are alarming.
There is nothing meaningful for defence, only further increases in welfare and taxation.
There is also the proposal to allow HMRC to remove money directly from people’s bank accounts without their consent.
The country needs a general election now.

Custody is where the judge should be!
Labour’s VAWG plan going well then! 🙄
A 14-year-old boy repeatedly stabbed a girl who rejected his advances, using a SIX-INCH kitchen knife.
He stabbed her at least TEN TIMES. A shopkeeper who tried to intervene was also stabbed.
The attack was premeditated. The judge acknowledged how terrifying and dangerous it had been.
And the sentence? A 12-month referral order and a three-year restraining order. No further custody.
Judge Ian Lawrie KC reportedly told him:
“You’re a bright lad” and “keep out of mischief.”
Mischief?! As though he'd been caught nicking a few apples off somebody's tree, rather than chasing a terrified girl through a shop and repeatedly stabbing her because she dared to say NO!
The judge also said custody was the last place he should be... What about the girl? Her trauma? Her safety? Her right to reject a boy without fearing for her life?
Of course young offenders need rehabilitation. But surely that cannot come at the expense of meaningful accountability for such extreme violence. Labour promises to halve violence against women and girls within a decade.
How can we expect girls to believe that violence against them is taken seriously when this is how an attempted rejection-fuelled attempted killing is dealt with?
Her mother called the sentence “disgraceful.” I can certainly understand why. A girl's life is worth more than a boy's promising future.
