most people use ai trading agents like a magic 8 ball "will #btc pump?" 🎱 that's the worst way to use @get_truenorth . here's what actually works: 1/ structure your prompt asset + action + context + timeframe ❌ bad: "is hype good?" ✅ good: "hype long setup on 4h. entry, stop, target, funding and liq heatmap" 2/ compare, don't ask for predictions "sol vs sui for a 1-week swing. technicals, derivatives positioning, catalysts" you get a side by side instead of a guess 3/ let it watch your open positions connect hyperliquid and ask what to do with what you already hold take profit, move stop, or cut. most losses come from managing badly, not entering badly 4/ use the wallet analysis on yourself it's brutal. overtrading and bad sizing show up fast 5/ the rewards trap truthsayer pays usdc mostly for volume but fees + funding are real costs. 10x long at 0.01%/8h ≈ 110% of margin a year in funding alone farm rewards with trades you'd take anyway. not the other way around what's your best prompt so far? #ai #trading

#uniswap v3 LPs lost $35.6m to arbitrage this year not to hacks. to stale prices every time the market moves, the pool still quotes the old price and arbs eat the difference @metricxyz flips it. the price comes from an oracle (chainlink, pyth or a market maker), the pool just quotes around it 7 months in stealth, public since oct 15: > $18m tvl, +685% in 30 days > $117m volume in 24h, $4.5b in 30 days > tvl turns over 8-10x a day. uniswap does under 1x > team bootstrapped it with $2.5m of their own, no vc early test on weth/usdc: metric LPs +0.44 bps per $ traded, uniswap -1.01 bps small sample, but the direction matters the risks are real too: > if the oracle dies, the pool stops > ~half of pools by count are rated high risk > top 2 curators run ~90% of volume and 40% of its tvl sits on #Robinhood chain, right in the middle of the tokenized stock war no token, no points announced. just volume #DYOR

#anthropic just filed for IPO. ticker solana:4Wdn6GGJLdyeMLLfzu3pPQMmf9Kivd8e9xmbLb2bpump on nasdaq the headline says $80.7b loss in h1. sounds insane but $72.4b of it is paper. fair value changes on convertibles and SAFEs, not cash leaving the company actual operating loss: $693m on $16.3b revenue up from $1.1b a year ago the part i'd actually watch: -> ~$450b in signed cloud deals (google $111b, aws $110b, microsoft $31b) -> up to $750b total compute spend ahead -> ~20% of revenue from just 2 customers and the funniest part: hyperliquid was already trading it ANTH pre-ipo perp hit ~$1,980 at the filing, then dumped 6% in minutes reported valuation $1.5T - $2T would you long it at that price? #ai #claude

32 days until @monad's first cliff and nobody can agree how big it is nov 24, one year after mainnet: tokenomist: ~6.7b MON team tranche alone: ~10.7b MON aggregators: 16-17b MON circulating today: ~11.8b, ~$259m market cap so supply goes up between +56% and +144% in one day. at $0.0219 that's $146-372m hitting a $259m market the twist: paradigm led the series A at a $3b valuation. FDV is ~$2.19b now. the latest VCs are down ~27%. even the coinbase public sale at $0.025 is underwater and in august the foundation offered investors up to $60m to buy their locked tokens at a discount. almost nobody took it funds that are underwater and refused an exit don't usually plan to dump at a loss either they know something, or nov 24 gets ugly which one? #crypto #monad

two chains shut down in three weeks @blast : once ~$2b TVL, shut down oct 2 after assets fell ~98% @Sophon : ~$70m raised, $3.4m/yr to run, closing nov 30 sophon had ~20 years of runway. money wasn't the problem running your own chain only makes sense if people actually use it no users = expensive empty building the 2026 move is pivoting to base or solana and keeping the treasury who's next? #shuttingdown #crypto #uptober

$60b in swaps in under 2 months is real flow. but run it through points farmers report ~4-7 points per $1m on swaps. that's ~240-420k points for $60b, maybe 2-4% of the ~10-11m total so swaps are 15% of volume and a sliver of the airdrop at ~$44-59/pt that pays ~0.02-0.04% of volume. if your swap spread is above that, you're paying for @variational_io's growth chart, not farming it #swaps > #perps for the protocol. for points, not so sure $VAR #crypto
Despite launching less than two months ago, swaps now account for more than 15% of lifetime volume processed by the Variational Protocol. Swaps > perps.

i've been saying variational farmers are funding their own #airdrop. ran the numbers on the new $VAR tokenomics. i was half wrong 32% to farmers, fully unlocked at TGE 50% team + investors, 12mo lock then 3y+ vest 100% of treasury revenue -> buy and burn @Polymarket prices FDV at ~$1.5-1.85b. with ~10-11m total points that's ~$44-59 per point the math that surprised me: 150k points drop every week -> ~$6.7-8.9m of tokens traders pay ~$3.3m/week in spreads in aggregate, farmers get back 2-2.7x what they pay here's the half i was right about. that's an average. the guy doing $3m of volume for 19 pts paid ~$150k of volume per point. the guy at $25k per point is printing. same platform, 6x gap and unlike $LIT, nobody on the cap table can sell for a full year the airdrop isn't a scam. it's just not equal so what's your call: what does a point end up worth at TGE? under $30, $30-60, or $60+?

still broke?? someone's AI is cold emailing businesses and booking their meetings right now. it runs on a $20 sub harvey (github link below, ~1.8k stars) is open source and needs no API key: > finds businesses (openstreetmap for free) > scrapes their site for real hooks: which agency runs their ads, no online booking, missing pixels > writes a cold email sequence around those facts > reads replies, sorts intent, pushes toward a meeting runs as a loop every 15 min: replies first, then sending, writing, prospecting the smart part: site analysis runs without the model. the LLM only writes, so a flat sub covers it total cost: your sub + a ~$7/mo mailbox catch: it sends as you. GDPR and spam law are your problem, and a fresh domain will tank deliverability without warm-up. keep approval on SDR is the first sales job agents eat #ai #sales

this is a f*cking upgrade @solana's biggest consensus upgrade in years goes live today (~13:20 UTC) and solana:So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112 is sitting at $106 alpenglow: finality 12.8s -> ~150ms, ~85x faster "confirmed" and "finalized" become the same thing, irreversible in ~150ms validator votes leave the blocks and move into certificates the part nobody's ready for: once votes leave the blocks, TPS and tx counts on every dashboard drop overnight. expect "solana activity collapsed" posts this week. it didn't, the counting changed for perps this is the real unlock. ~150ms to irreversible is where onchain orderbooks start feeling like a CEX. that's been hyperliquid's edge so far fun detail: firedancer, the client everyone hyped, isn't supported during the switch. everyone migrates on agave-based clients meanwhile SkyAI sold its entire SOL treasury last week at ~$107.51. timing will be fun to look back on

your 10x long costs ~110% a year. before price even moves "normal" funding is 0.01% every 8h that's ~11% a year on notional at 10x, it's ~110% a year on your margin in a hot market funding runs 3-5x that. at 0.03%/8h a 10x long bleeds ~0.9% of margin per day and it's worse than it sounds. funding comes out of your margin, so on isolated your liq price creeps closer every hour you hold a 10x long you forget about for 2 weeks in a hot market: -> ~12.6% of margin paid in funding -> liq price ~1.3% closer than where you opened #perps are for trades, not for holding. if you want exposure for months, spot doesn't charge you rent #crypto #uptober

lighter just added 15-min ethereum:native up/down binaries. settled on chainlink TWAP, $1/share, priced like polymarket tbh this is the most relevant lighter news for the unlock debate. buybacks need ~10x to absorb ~$10m/week of vesting from dec 27, and perps alone weren't getting there short-duration binaries are pure retail flow and usually fat margin. if this gets real volume before december, the math changes watching weekly fees from here #lighter #perp

how much is a #variational point actually costing you? one formula: cost per point = total spread you paid ÷ points you got volume doesn't matter. the spread does numbers people post are all over the place, from ~$25k to ~$150k of volume per point. 6x gap between farmers on the same platform, so copying someone else's math is useless the official side: @variational_io made $6.56m from spreads in the last 2 weeks and paid out $304k in rewards so open your trade history, add up what you paid in spread (fill vs mark), divide by your points if that's above what you think a point is worth at TGE, you're not farming the airdrop, you're funding it #uptober #crypto #points

everyone's worried about @Lighter_xyz's dec 27 unlock. @HyperliquidX had the same problem 2 weeks ago oct 6, $HYPE: 3.75m HYPE unlocked to core contributors, ~$326m assistance fund buybacks that week: ~$12.2m so on paper the unlock dwarfed buybacks too. difference is the whole allocation reportedly went OTC to one institutional buyer. none of it touched the order book that's the real question for $LIT. not how big the unlock is, but where it gets sold ~$10m/week vesting vs <$1m/week buybacks OTC -> dec 27 is a non-event order book -> it's not sent this exact question to the lighter team for the q3 meeting. will post what they say #crypto #uptober #hype

every farm i've done this year has the same problem: half the leaderboard is sybils, and the real users get diluted @conso_xyz is trying to fix that from the other side, with reputation instead of more volume rules how it works: - your activity across social, gaming, ai and web3 apps gets scored into ZAPs - that becomes a Consumer Passport, minted as a non-transferable SBT on @SuiNetwork - data is encrypted with Seal and stored on @WalrusProtocol - projects can run campaigns filtered by rep (zap totals, tiers, badges) instead of "whoever farmed hardest" there's also a prompt-to-earn extension that tracks your ai usage and turns it into zaps. kinda funny but makes sense if agents need context about you later genesis drop is 5,555 CONSO BOTS, free, eligibility is tied to your X account. checker is live on their site my question is the scoring. if rep can be farmed, we're back to square one. curious how they handle that #dyor

the missing number here is how much the slippage cost. volume per point doesn't matter, $ lost per point does variational has no fees and makes money on the spread as the counterparty. so "pay more on close = more points" probably just means points track what you paid them
