I'm sure Pennie Smith (photographer) and the estate of Ray Lowry (sleeve designer) as well as all other parties that may have copyright interest in this artwork are getting remunerated accordingly?

We're proud of the lifesaving work our volunteers do in the Channel – we make no apology for it. Those we rescue are vulnerable people in danger & distress. Each of them is someone’s father, mother, son or daughter - every life is precious. This is why we launch:

OI!! @LucyTCWife, why do you lie so much? The Clacton by-election was paid for by taxpayers, not Reform UK, as parties are not permitted to fund by-elections under electoral law.

Hi Russell, considering I am the only Labour Councillor on the authority and I was not at the induction (as I have been here 9 years), this is a complete lie and a breach of standards @reformexposed
I’m sat in my first Essex County Council meeting on Monday morning, listening to a councillor induction presentation.
‘Any questions?’ asks an officer.
A hand goes up.
‘Yes’ says a recently elected Labour member.
‘Do I get a pension as a councillor?’.
His first question was about how much money he gets. Not procedure, or meeting dates or where the loos are… but how much cash he can grab.
Same old Labour.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
There is only one Labour councillor on Essex County Council, Cllr Lee Scordis. He has been a councillor for 9 years.
He did not attend the induction meeting.

Keeper of the Flame from 1942 terrifyingly outlining the Farage and Bannon playbook in 2 minutes.
See? None of this is new.

It is wild to me that a doctor has to go through 5 years of med school and years of post grad training to see patients independently yet a trainee ACP can start seeing patients on their own + make decisions whilst doing their 2 year part time course...honestly blows my mind..
Absolutely disgusting and shocking stuff that would (rightfully) finish any other party leader.
It SHOULD finish Farage.
Or will the media ignore it? Can you imagine them doing so if this was any other party leader...?

Have to hand it to Reform, doubling down on its admiration for the repulsive Trump regime will obviously damage them in the UK, but it's clearly what they genuinely believe.

I’m SICK of people attacking those on benefits. I’ll say one more time. I had a partner and a beautiful family. But sadly he died. I had 4 kids by myself. I didn’t have family to help step in. I ended on benefits because I couldn’t afford childcare. My kids were 3yr, 5yr, 6yr and 15yrs old. You’re only ever one tragedy away from ending up on benefits. STOP judging when you don’t know people’s story’s.
Also many people on benefits work. Why should they have to top up their wages? Shouldn’t companies pay liveable wages in the first place? It’s more like corporation subsidies imho. You’re blaming the wrong people. It’s the system that works against us not the people themselves.

Next time someone asks what's the matter with this site, show them this:
An account in India, amplifying a billionaire from South Africa being encouraged by an Irish passport holder, using an alias, to encourage civil unrest in the UK.

I remember finding taco bell sauce packets in a drawer of the refrigerator, and that's what I had to feed myself for and entire weekend when I was 8 years old
I remember when I hid in a closet and ate bad sandwich meat at 2 a.m. when I was 14
Before she died, my mom used to tell this cute story about how she found me eating jarred salsa with a spoon when I was 3, I just "loved it so much," but what she didn't mention was that a jar in the fridge door was all there was for me to find for myself to survive on
I have a lot of memories I never want children to be forced into reliving for the rest of their lives
I don't know if it's brokenness or lack thereof that makes people so wicked, but I'm going to choose to be grateful that you don't know what it's like or hope you can overcome what has made you so rotten
It's one thing to be a troll on the internet and another to actively advocate for the starvation of people you have deemed lesser than you
No, I wasn't born to people who were the shining example of hard work and good choices, but I also starved just like you think I should have, and I will never be able to forget it
$35 a year to prevent that for even a single child I will never meet will be money well spent
This is the only trauma dump I will ever write; I hope that it finds you well, and you truly consider what hunger means for millions of children born to parents and conditions out of their control
