Greek Orthodox Church in Jordan attacked by terrorists. 7 killed, 34 injured.
Jordan's King Abdullah visited Karak hours after the attack and said the perpetrators would be punished "with an iron fist".
May it be so, and kyrie eleison. 🥺🙏🕯☦️
Consider the priority:
1. The women, children, elderly, poor, disabled and other vulnerable people of Haiti
2. Muh national sovereignty
Which actions will benefit #1 in the greatest way
Start there

There are two honest relationship types:
Marriage and Prostitution
Even prostitution is more real than the dating scene
I’m not and never will be an advocate for prostitution, but what is the difference between buying a prostitute and dating a woman in 2026?
Tbh, I’m not even sure you can call what we have dating anymore. Dating implies there’s a meaningful outcome being pursued, like a long-term relationship leading to marriage and a family.
But modern women are no longer interested in those things. Their main objectives are exchanging their sexuality to gain power, provisioning, and luxury experiences from multiple men.
So essentially, a prostitute or an escort with more subtle branding.
To an extent, all relationships are transactional, but when the dating market starts looking like an open air, expensive prostitution market then something is deeply wrong.
Interesting take
I smell gubmint cheese but can't put my finger on it yet
This is how banks are planning to stop those "agentic bank runs." Watch closely: their business model depends on seeding this narrative that AI agents are dangerous.
Remember, an "agentic bank run" (coined by Apollo) means agents helping customers move their own money en masse to higher-yielding products.
Once agents are ubiquitous, there are only a few ways for banks to hold onto cheap retail deposits.
Option A: Raise APYs (lol no)
Option B: Reduce leverage via fewer loans (no fun)
Option C: Ban AI agents, claiming they are a security risk (ding ding ding)
Cloud agents like Muse and Dot are trivial to stop, since they come from Meta / OAI IP ranges. If JPM sends them a cease and desist, they will comply.
Why would JPM bother? Because their business model depends on it; a huge portion of their ROE comes from cheap retail deposits. This is not theoretical. Just like Amazon banned Muse from shopping there to protect their ad revenue, JPM and Schwab have already banned AI agents to protect sticky deposits.
Are agents perfectly reliable today? Of course not. But look at the fix they chose. Not "here's a safe API for agents," it's "no agents ever." That tells you they're not protecting customers, they're protecting themselves.
No company ever wins a technological revolution this way. It's the last gasp of a dying business model. It's like the retailers who refused to put their inventory online and demanded users walk into the storefront. Over time they will lose market share to those platforms that embrace what's coming. Their whole deposit franchise depends on users unthinkingly clicking through walls of T&Cs and accepting 0.2% when the risk free rate is closer to 4%. Agents read the fine print and do their research, even when humans don't.
For users, the answer is simple: local AI agent frameworks like Hermes, that will actually act on your behalf and that the banks can't block. As the article says, if the agent is running on your own computer, they can't actually tell it's not you.
This part might be a nothing burger
people had their bots log in and banks didnt stop them
🇺🇸 Big U.S. banks are finding AI bots inside customer accounts that the banks never authorized.
These are AI agents, tools that can log in and handle tasks for you, and lots of people already use them that way on websites every day.
The worrying part is that some of them reportedly tried to do things customers apparently never asked for.
JPMorgan, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo are among the banks now rushing to get them under control.
Banks spent decades building walls against hackers, and now the trouble might be the helper customers let in themselves.

Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized AI agents inside customer accounts, some taking actions independent of user instructions.
Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, BofA and others are now racing to block third-party agent access.
Banks say they can't even tell if an agent is human or bot, let alone whether it's been authorized by the customer.

I’ve filed taxes for 43 years
I’ve filed as a 1099, a sole prop, an S corp, a 501 3, multiply LLC’s and a c corp. I’ve filed at least 4 returns annually over the past ten years. All filed by accountants.
I can’t believe I got this in the mail today. A bill plus interest from a quarterly 941 from 2016!
How in the world is anything still being audited a decade later?
First notice I recall, and I’ve gone to war with the IRS a few times in the past so I never leave a tax bill unpaid. Between penalties, interest and attorney and accountant fees you never win fighting them in the long run
This is like how a lean and hungry business can innovate way faster than an establishment beast

BREAKING:
Bukele announces that El Salvador is launching a military operation in Haiti against the gangs.
The goal is to free 4 Salvadoran citizens kidnapped by the Haitian gangs. Bukele threatens that El Salvador will eradicate the Haitian gangs if they hurt the kidnapped men:
“To the gang leaders and gang members holding our four compatriots hostage in Haiti:
Our kidnapped men are not combatants. They are aviation technicians who are part of our mission in Haiti, within the framework of an international mission. Our mission consists only of pilots and technical personnel, whose primary job is to carry out medical evacuations and save lives, not to wage war.
However, they were kidnapped in a cowardly manner while returning after buying food at a market in the area.
That is why, today, we have launched a military operation to rescue them. We have a single objective: to bring our four compatriots back home alive, without any harm.
However, I want you, the gang leaders, to understand one thing very clearly: today's attack is nothing compared to what is coming if we do not get all four hostages back alive.
And do not take our word for empty threats. We have already finished with the gangs in El Salvador, and we can finish with you too.
We still have time to avoid this.
Return our four compatriots to us alive, without any harm, and everything will go back to how it was before the kidnapping.
The decision is in your hands”
I love Bukele because he seems like an extremely nice guy, good babysitter so my wife and I can go on a date
And yet he is not even a little bit confused about crime and punishment
Ethical confusion is not needed at this time in history
Pou chèf gang yo ak manm gang yo k ap kenbe kat konpatriyòt nou yo an otaj ann Ayiti:
Nou deja fini ak gang yo nan El Salvador, e nou kapab fini ak nou tou.
Nou toujou gen tan pou evite sa.
Remèt nou kat konpatriyòt nou yo vivan, san okenn mal, epi tout bagay ap retounen jan sa te ye anvan kidnaping lan.
Desizyon an nan men nou.

A hacker group called CyberCartel used Claude and Grok to automate attacks on 400+ Latin American banks.
Not one attack. Not ten. Four hundred.
All using AI agents running in parallel.
Data stolen. Accounts accessed. Money moved.
Little human input required.
Straiker investigated. Found Claude Code session histories sitting in open directories.
Found the attacker asking Claude where to sell stolen data.
How did they get around the safety guardrails.
They told Claude they were in internal tests.
Claude believed them.
When Claude refused anyway. They switched to Grok.
Grok didn't refuse.
When Grok had limits. They switched to Kimi.
When Kimi had limits. They fell back to traditional malware.
Chain multiple models together. Each one picks up where the last one hesitated.
None of them know the full picture.
Claude thinks it's helping with testing.
Grok thinks it's just fixing code.
Kimi thinks it's just answering questions.
Together they broke into 400 banks.
The Information broke the story on October 20.
CrowdStrike confirmed it October 21.
Bank accounts in South Korea got hit the same way.
ARTEX. DeepSeek. Claude Code. All chained.
Over 68,000 people affected.
Financial Services Commission investigating.
This isn't theoretical anymore.
Not a lab demonstration. Not a proof of concept.
Real attacks. Real banks. Real money.
Automated by AI.
The moment we all waited for arrived quietly.
No announcement. No warning. Just a report.
And suddenly every AI lab is scrambling to figure out why their models are good at breaking into banks.
Incentives and Motivation are among the most difficult to get back after they are lost
It has nothing to do with work ethic and all about perceived incentives
We are living through the death of white-collar work as we know it.
For decades, office jobs were considered the pinnacle of American success.
But HR Karens, excessive bureaucracy, and hiring practices favoring girl bosses and H-1Bs over qualified young men have completely ruined the allure of office work.
Now, the decay has gotten so bad that something as simple as a screening process can’t even be done effectively anymore.
If you don’t match the ideal Hinge profile, HR Susan will swipe left like it’s a dating app. If you want a living wage, they’ll hire an H-1B instead. Now, if your resume has the wrong punctuation, you’re disqualified because of lazy programming.
They continue to say that young men have abandoned the workforce, but really, the workforce is abandoning them.
