Scoop: General Matter, the secretive nuclear enrichment startup backed by Peter Thiel and John Kerry, just emerged from semi-stealth mode last month when it submitted its initial paperwork for an NRC application.
Today the NRC formally accepted the application in half the time it usually takes.
The company tells me it's on track now for construction next year, installations in 2028, and commercial shipments of nuclear fuel in 2029.

FBI agents witnessed a silent, matte-black triangular object hover above a mountain ridge for roughly 20 seconds before it accelerated almost instantly and vanished into a canyon — all without visible engines, rotors, exhaust, or any conventional propulsion system.
The 2026 encounter is among several incidents detailed in newly released Pentagon and Department of War documents examining unidentified anomalous phenomena. Agents used handheld thermal equipment and reported a uniform heat signature across the object's surface, with none of the concentrated hot spots typically associated with aircraft propulsion. The object's estimated wingspan was 9 to 15 feet.
Neither the FBI nor the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office has identified the object or established its origin. Fox News Digital has contacted AARO for comment, including whether the object has since been identified.

I worked console many years ago at the backup technical operations center for the Iridium NEXT telecommunications satellite constellation.
It is not far fetched in the slightest to imagine SpaceX has complete control of the Starshield backend including constellation operations, authentication, geofencing, and service restrictions— even if government operators control tasking, priorities, and mission ops.
It’s not even necessarily nefarious in origin. It would be the most efficient way to manage the constellation, push SW updates, and resolve service issues.

Where Are the UAP Task Force Records?
Jay Stratton (@jaystratton), former Director of the Pentagon's Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF), led the very organization whose records remain the subject of serious transparency questions.
Stratton, in his recently released book "Out of the Shadows," does discuss some of the data that the UAPTF had collected over the years - but does not go into any substantial detail.
The Disclosure Foundation calls for a comprehensive accounting of UAPTF records and the release of all material that can lawfully be declassified, including the imagery described in the quote from Policy Brief No. 5: Concrete Next Steps for UAP Disclosure.

I cannot tell you how much I agree with this suggested approach. I think the @UAPSAC would agree as well.
Unclassified instrumentation and open access to data is the best way forward, in my opinion.
To PURSUE (@WhiteHouse), ODNI (@ODNIgov), AARO (@DoW_AARO), the FBI (@FBI), and the U.S. Intelligence Community:
If the alleged legacy UFO program is resisting PURSUE’s disclosure efforts, ODNI and AARO should lead a scientific partnership with Professor Avi Loeb (@ProfAviLoeb) and the UAP Science Advisory Council.
Deploy unclassified instruments where these orbs reportedly appear or are allegedly being lured in. Collect independent data to determine whether they represent non-human intelligence (NHI).
If the evidence confirms we are not alone, President Trump can announce it to the world.
Circumvent the alleged legacy program. Let science lead the way.
