After landing at Sydney Cove it took the British just 38 years to turn their own drinking water into a sewer. How civilised.
Pauline Hanson reckons Aboriginal people are the most primitive race on Earth because they never invented the wheel.
So let's have a look at some history and see who is really primitive.
In 1788, the First Fleet landed at a freshwater creek called the Tank Stream, clean water looked after by the Gadigal for thousands of years. Governors took a range of measures to protect the stream but none of it worked. By 1826, the colony had to abandon its own water supply because it had become an open sewer. Today it runs under the city as a stormwater drain.
Tens of thousands of years of care to keep that water clean, and 38 years of "civilisation" to destroy it.
At Madjedbebe in Mirarr country, the scientific journal 'Nature' puts people on this continent making ground-edge axes 65,000 years ago. Those axes are the oldest found anywhere on Earth. Somebody standing on this soil invented them.
At Budj Bim in Gunditjmara country there are stone channels, dams and weirs built to farm eels, running for at least 6,600 years. Engineers Australia rates it among the greatest engineering works ever built in this country. It is older than the pyramids and it still works.
65,000 years, and the water was still clean, the soil was still there, and the fish still plentiful. First Nations land management was so advanced that when the British colonists arrived, they didn't even know what they were looking at.
Now let's look at 238 years of Pauline's "civilisation". 100 native species have been wiped out for good, and Australia holds the worst mammal extinction record on the planet. In Queensland alone, hundreds of thousands of hectares of bush are bulldozed every year to run cattle, which is why Australia is the only wealthy country on the world's list of deforestation hotspots.
The rivers are dying, the topsoil is stripped, the reefs are bleached, and the forests are burning. How civilised.
Europe got rich through the export of violence and theft, then built a story afterwards to make the violence sound like progress. Pauline is still regurgitating that story because without it, she is just an ignorant and bitter woman who inherited a stolen country, and is still trying to whitewash history.
Stand with First Nations people against these colonial lies.
Thank fk for that.
BREAKING: Australia has CANCELLED the 91-story Trump Tower they planned to build.
The local developer saying the Trump brand has become âtoxic".
âLetâs just say that with the Iran war and everything else, the Trump brand was increasingly unpopular in Australia,â David Young, CEO of Altus Property Group, told CNN in a statement.

Kimmelâs hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isnât comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.
People like Kimmel shouldnât have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.
A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.
Enough is enough. It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABCâs leadership enable Kimmelâs atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it.
Iâd challenge this list! Iâve been voting in Australia (where it is compulsory to vote đđź) for 40 years & not once have I been asked to show my ID. Yes, our names are crossed off of a register but that is not showing an ID!!!

đ¨JD VANCE DOESNâT WANT YOU TO SHARE THIS:
ON THE LEFT: JD Vance slams the WSJ and says journalists should be âashamedâ for covering the Epstein story.
ON THE RIGHT: JD Vance in 2021
saying journalists should be âashamedâ for not writing more articles about the Epstein case.
đ¨BOMBSHELL: WSJ just dropped a STUNNER - PROOF Trump was closer to Epstein than previously thought.
Trump is ALREADY threatening to SUE!! Here are ALL the details you HAVENâT READ YET:
Ghislaine Maxwell surprised Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 with a leather-bound album to mark his 50th birthday. The album had poems, photos, and greetings from businesspeople, academics, Epsteinâs former girlfriends, childhood pals, and, among others, real estate mogul Donald J. Trump.
Pages from the album were among the documents examined by the Justice Department years ago.
The letter bearing Trumpâs name, which was reviewed by the Wall Street Journal, is bawdy and contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the womanâs breasts, and Donald Trump's signature is a squiggly âDonaldâ below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.
Inside the outline of the naked woman was a typewritten note styled as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein, written in the third person.
âVoice-over: There must be more to life than having everything,â the note began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I wonât tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday â and may every day be another wonderful secret.
The letter concludes, âHappy Birthdayâand may every day be another wonderful secret.â
The letter concludes, âHappy Birthdayâand may every day be another wonderful secret.â
The WSJ contacted Trump for comment on Tuesday evening, and he he angrily denied writing the letter or drawing the picture. âThis is not me. This is a fake thing. Itâs a fake Wall Street Journal story; I never wrote a picture in my life. I donât draw pictures of women,â he said. âItâs not my language. Itâs not my words.â
He told the WSJ that he was preparing to file a lawsuit if it published an article about his relationship with Epstein. âIâm gonna sue The Wall Street Journal just like I sued everyone else,â

BREAKING: Republican Liz Cheney hits back hard at Donald Trump for his "assault on the rule of law" after he threatens to imprison those like her who served on the House January 6th committee.
And she wasn't done there...
"Here is the truth: Donald Trump attempted to overturn the 2020 presidential election and seize power," Cheney said in a statement provided to several outlets.
"He mobilized an angry mob and sent them to the United States Capitol, where they attacked police officers, invaded the building and halted the official counting of electoral votes," she went on.
"Trump watched on television as police officers were brutally beaten and the Capitol was assaulted, refusing for hours to tell the mob to leave," Cheney continued.
"This was the worst breach of our Constitution by any president in our nationâs history," she stated. "Donald Trumpâs suggestion that members of Congress who later investigated his illegal and unconstitutional actions should be jailed is a continuation of his assault on the rule of law and the foundations of our republic."
Over the weekend, Trump told Meet the Press that Cheney's actions were "inexcusable" and said "honestly, they should go to jail" of the members of the January 6th committee.
The fact that these people have done nothing wrong and were simply trying to protect our democracy matters not to Trump. He's beginning his revenge tour.
Please retweet and â¤ď¸ if you still fully support the January 6th Committee â and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth â which is only making Tribel grow even faster.
