Love waking up saying it’s “the best month of the year” and my wife believing I’m saying that cause it’s her “birthday month”.

Yeah you’ve seen Jon Scheyer at Duke, but where were you the night he dropped 48-3-2 against Waukegan in the SuperSectionals? Also these might be my new favorite announcers 😂😂😂.

Before Jon Scheyer was at Duke, he was lighting up Illinois high school basketball at Glenbrook North.
Ahead of Duke’s Thanksgiving matchup in the Windy City, I visited his old gym and talked to those who saw that competitive fire first.

I've seen some crazy things in my life... But the resell prices for the LE Notre Dame Green Jersey Game Yeti Tumbler on Ebay... Sheesh
I hope the lady behind me in line that was considering buying one did end up buying one (or 10)

Tomorrow will be the 3rd anniversary of the passing of Justin Hardy.
The most viewed episode of the Q-cast is my December 10, 2021 conversation with Justin, who was playing for @WashUBasketball while battling stage 4 stomach cancer.
Justin's only request for the interview was "You can ask about my diagnosis, but not my prognosis. I'd like this to be about how I'm living...not about how I'm dying."
If you want to know what courage looks like, this episode is worth your time. I'll never forget Justin's positivity and the smile on his face all 51 minutes. (Link below.)
It was a huge honor Justin asked to share his story with the world on my silly podcast. I got to meet him in person just 9 days later in St. Louis, when he started and led WashU to a victory over #2-ranked IWU. We texted and talked until about 30 day before his passing...when he got too sick.
Amazing and inspirational human being. My thoughts are with Bob, Karen, the whole family, and all who loved Justin.

Last April, Duke coach Jon Scheyer called one of his closest friends in basketball to discuss his new roster building strategy. His friend — Boston Celtics GM Brad Stevens — agreed completely.
"There’s no substitute for length."

Hundreds of Jewish students at @Columbia just published one of the most incredible student letters I have ever read.
It's not only magnificently written, but it also clearly articulates their experiences on campus for the past six months.
Their letter tells the story of what's it like being a Jewish student right now better than any professor like myself could ever do.
Please take 4-5 minutes to read their letter.
Give Jewish students a voice.
