🇦🇺 The Advertiser has published a new piece by Clare Rowe covering her experience at the @CASCltd conference.
“…it was one observation from psychotherapist Dr. Stella O’Malley that stayed with me. Healthcare is not consumerism. We appear to have confused patient-centered healthcare with the idea that patients should receive whatever treatment they request.”

At the CASC Gender Healthcare Summit 2026 today psychoanalyst Marcus Evans “described the medical treatment of gender-distressed children as “the biggest scandal that I’ve known in mental health”, saying it had come about due to a “collapse in medical authority”.

Asaf Rejuwan, one of the Israeli survivors of flight 1073 wrote on Facebook:
״I don't usually post on social media, but today I felt something burning deep inside me that I simply had to share.
Ever since the incident where the terrorist's attempt to hijack the Flydubai flight was thwarted, there has been a lot of coverage in the media, and I’ve been asked many times what factors I believe prevented the terrible disaster that could have befallen our people had that despicable terrorist succeeded in his plans.
Today, I think I received a very special and interesting answer to that question. Naturally, after the incident ended and we landed safely on the Land of Israel, I felt the need to thank many people... the passengers who cooperated, my lioness of a wife and all the mothers and fathers who protected their loved ones, the children who stayed composed, and every Israeli passenger on that plane.
Yesterday, I was part of a group of passengers interviewed for an international channel. As each passenger went into detail about how they experienced the flight, we realized something very important- something you only understand when the dust settles and you get into the small details during intimate conversations among yourselves.
We realized that every single passenger on that flight had a role, every passenger on the flight had a role.
One passenger was responsible for communicating with Israel's security services
I discovered there was a passenger on board who provided a mobile hotspot and made sure to share it with others
Another female passenger sat and recited Psalms
A passenger made sure to pass along headphone cords to tie up the terrorist
Passengers kept track of where we were going to land using GPS maps
An Australian passenger was the only one on the plane who could make calls back to Israel from an enemy country (Saudi Arabia)
And the list goes on... And, of course, the amazing Yaniv, the wonderful Tzvika and Tali, the hero Shota, the great man Or, and many other great friends who lent a hand.
I had no doubt that after such a great miracle, I would be attending synagogue on Saturday morning to recite the Birkat HaGomel (the prayer of thanking the God of Israel after a lifesaving miracle)
I am not a religious person. I believe in God in my own way, and I don't usually look for signs in everything. But today, something happened that completely astonished me. Completely by chance, today in the synagogue I read from Parashat Devarim (Deuteronomy 33:26):
"There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His majesty rides the skies."
אֵין כָּאֵל יְשֻׁרוּן רֹכֵב שָׁמַיִם בְּעֶזְרֶךָ וּבְגַאֲוָתוֹ שְׁחָקִים
I read the verse, stopped, and got goosebumps, and so did all the other worshippers who knew the story and understood why I was there with them.
After everything that happened on that flight, after the fear, after the storming of the terrorist, and after realizing how thin the line between life and death really was- finding myself facing those exact words, "rides the heavens to help you," was a moment I can hardly explain.
I don't know if it was divine providence, a coincidence, or simply a moment that took on a profoundly deep meaning for me. But today, in the synagogue, as I recited Birkat HaGomel, I felt mainly one thing:
Thank you. Thank you for life. Thank you for the miracle. And thank you for the privilege to stand here and tell the story.
Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱״

BREAKING | A newly subsidised status for the drug Triptorelin 3.75mg will not include its use as a puberty blocker for minors with gender dysphoria, according to Australia's federal Department of Health.
So, the cost of hormone suppression drugs for gender use in Australia will not be slashed. There has been much confusion about this.
The drug is targeted at conditions such as hormone-driven cancer and endometriosis. It is also used "off label" to stop the normally timed puberty of gender-distressed children.
As late as Monday morning, gender medicine lobby the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health believed that blockers would be included in the new unrestricted PBS listing of the hormone suppression drug Triptorelin 3.75mg.

there is not a shred of evidence that medically transitioning children reduces death by suicide. not a single study in the nearly 40 years since the onset of the dutch studies has even suggested that.
Children who are trans are 5x more likely to attempt suicide than non trans kids.
Gender affirming care (GAC) reduces suicidal thoughts by 80%.
If your child was trans would you get them GAC or risk them dying by suicide?
Fyi GAC is banned in 27 states

🇦🇺 Australia is at a crossroads. Around the world, systematic evidence reviews have led countries to restrict pediatric medical transition, yet Australia continues to lag behind.
As @Bernard_Lane writes of the claim that questioning youth gender medicine will cause suicide: “There is no good evidence for this reckless claim.”
Children deserve healthcare grounded in rigorous evidence, not fear-based messaging or political pressure. The NHMRC review must be transparent, independent, and put safeguarding before ideology.

"We are told that gender diversity is a natural and healthy variation of human experience, yet gender dysphoria is simultaneously conceptualised as a medical condition requiring irreversible interventions.
We tell young people that bodies do not determine their gender, yet body modification is often presented as a primary pathway to resolving distress.
These inherent contradictions are difficult to ignore."

Since President Trump was sworn in, the @FTC has been aggressively protecting children and the rights of parents across every part of the economy. Today, the FTC took another huge step in defense of children and parents. We have filed an enforcement action against the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) for making false and unsubstantiated claims about the safety and efficacy of medical transition procedures, and for providing to doctors the means to sell those procedures to children and parents.

The health regulator has weaponised its complaints process against doctors for raising legitimate concerns about the harm that puberty blockers and other ‘gender-affirming’ treatments are causing to children.
Backed by mounting international evidence, no Australian doctor should face professional intimidation or sanctions for ringing alarm bells about these controversial treatments.
AHPRA exists to protect patients, not to police expert medical opinions or punish dissent.
The pursuit of Dr Amos and Ms Spencer sends a chilling message to health practitioners and ordinary Australians alike: speak out and risk becoming the target of a powerful regulator.
AHPRA must explain how its actions in these cases are consistent with freedom of expression, procedural fairness and its obligation to act in the public interest.
Australians deserve a regulator focused on protecting patients, not one which panders to extreme, and often high risk, gender ideology.

When Queensland psychiatrists Dr Andrew Amos and Dr Jillian Spencer publicly raised concerns about the harms of gender medicine for children, the health regulator AHPRA came after them.
Dr Amos was gagged from speaking publicly and barred from direct patient contact. Dr Spencer is now facing an AHPRA investigation for posting on X about the regulator’s ideological capture by gender activists which is putting children at risk.
AHPRA’s treatment of these medical experts constitutes a deeply disturbing abuse of regulatory power.
