taishaunas are predominantly not taissa fans. they’re shauna fans who don’t like van and see taissa as a viable love interest for shauna. they have very little to say about tai as a character. once you notice this it’s very easy to disengage with them

Nothing wrong with headcanoning characters as gay or lesbian but there's a trend where that's applied to canon pairings and they'll make you look delusional for not seeing it their way, while actual queer characters get ignored

seeing through the microagressions of her black teammate being seen as harsh or violent. And it’s why I really hope that Bart and Ashley can give us more moments between Tai and Akilah in season 4 because it is such an interesting dynamic to me.

Sometimes it hits me what an incredible feat Akilah stitching up Van’s face was. Miraculous recovery aside, Akilah having to do that on little to no sleep, exhausted from the long trek back, traumatised from the wolf attack, and with no formal medical experience is insane
