For #SFDC formula users with multi select picklists: PICKLISTCOUNT() returns the number of selected items in an MSP field. It’s available now (Summer ‘22). It isn’t in the help docs or release notes yet, but feel free to tell your friends.

SFDC Note: the maximum size of compiled formulas in salesforce tripled to 15K in this past release. The documentation is out of date. Also, the next release will have a dozen or so more formula functions.

Tempus fugit. Noticed the one near Sullivan Station when I walked to T for about two weeks prior to this farcical response. Contemplated taking it home every time I passed it because we were avid viewers of Aquateen HF. Just thought it was an odd place to promote that show.
