We don't talk about Blessing Muzarabani enough & that is a bit of a crime. Muzarabani is one of those rare bowlers who actually exists in all 3 formats at present. Since 2021 he has been building something that looks a lot like greatness if you bother to look. 73 Test wickets at 24.5 average. Strike rate of 44.8. In ODIs he has 45 wickets in same period with 4.97 economy. Only Hazlewood & Boult have taken more wickets with better economy rate among Test nation pacers. that is the company he keeps. And in T20Is? 93 wickets since 2021 with economy of 7.07. only Bumrah, Mustafizur & Farooqi are ahead of him in terms of economy with min 50 wickets. Moments are there if you know where to look. 9 wickets in Sylhet last year. Bangladesh's own backyard. Then 6 wickets in current Test in Harare for an innings win. In between he sent Australia packing from T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka. He leads Zimbabwe's attack. he manages his body across 3 formats for a team that does not have luxury of depth. He keeps showing up & deliver. Again & again. We need to do better by him. He deserves at least that much.
