The Internet Is Finished, Nobody Expects The Number 4, Early iPhone Duo Reviews, SpaceXSITesla Merger Talks, Nikesh Arora Joins xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1XGygwdQo…
Palo Alto Networks CEO @nikesharora warns that the window for fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities is shrinking.
"I think there'll be a time where you won't have the luxury of weeks to be able to go figure out if this is real or not."
"You'll find out in the morning when you wake up that somebody found a big vulnerability and they posted it for everybody to see."
Palo Alto Networks CEO @nikesharora says he's more concerned about "trophy hunters" searching for the next security vulnerability than the PHP vulnerability itself.
"I'm more concerned about what comes next. This is just one. There's more to come."
"The problem is when you start seeing big things like this happen, you start finding people who are trophy hunters."
"They're going to say, 'Where can I find the next PHP and prove to the world that I'm as smart as the last guy.'"
Flapping Airplanes co-founder @aidanmantine believes training AI models on less data could make them more creative and better at generating novel ideas.
"I'm really bullish on new algorithms unlocking models that think in very different ways."
"I think that models can be pushed in this direction if they're trained on more limited data."
"If you look at why all the models talk the same way, it's because they're trained on the same data."
"If you build data-efficient algorithms and you can train models that are as smart as you and I with the same amount of data that you and I have, then they can think in a little bit weirder ways."
"They can make inferences off of more limited data."

.@jayleno believes low self-esteem is the key to success.
"If you don't think you're the smartest person in the room, just shut up and pay attention."
"That's what I did when I got on the Tonight Show."
"Give me the best lighting guy, give me the best director, and please tell me when I suck."
"I have friends of mine in the business and nobody tells them the truth."
"They'll say, 'Oh, you're good. You're really good.'"
"No, you weren't. Whatever you're doing, change it because it's not working."
FULL INTERVIEW: Emmy winner @jayleno joins the show to discuss comedy, supercars, the state of Hollywood, and more:

19:00 - Why Hollywood has become so expensive
30:00 - Turning down business opportunities

47:00 - Advice to AI doomers
Former Tonight Show host @jayleno believes we're in the "last days" of traditional late-night television.
"As a model, that format is dead. Podcasting is the new thing."
"Since they weren't making as much money, they passed a law that after 11:30pm, you could have another eight minutes of commercials in an hour."
"If I see Jake from State Farm again, I'm going to shoot myself in the head."
.@jayleno makes the case for why comedians should never retire:
"What are you gonna do? Drink? Gamble?"
"The thing about comedy is when you stop, you can never go back."
"You can't go back five years later because people now expect you to be five times better than the last time they saw you."
"It's your life anyway. You're still going to think of funny things to say when you're retired, but you won't have any place to say them."
"It's simple: write joke, tell joke, get check."
Comedy legend @jayleno says comedians shouldn't feel obligated to take sides politically.
"Johnny [Carson] and I had the same theory of making note of both sides equally and that worked fine."
"Then all of a sudden other talk shows come out and say, 'You gotta take a side.' Well, it's not my job."
"I took politics out of the act. Ticket sales are up 20,30%."
"When I go see James Taylor, I don't want to hear a lecture... I want to hear the music."
.@jayleno says the middle of the consumer market is disappearing, from cars to hotels to restaurants.
"The middle is dead."
"I see Porsche moving upscale and they want to be like Ferrari."
"Everything is that way now. With hotels, you're either at the Motel 6 or the Four Seasons."
"Restaurants are either fast food or top end restaurant."
"We have no middle class anymore."
