Thanksgiving presents us with time to truly appreciate the good things we have in our lives - family, friends, and vocations- passion that inspires us to make the world a better place. In these turbulent times, its helpful to reflect and appreciate those good things.
Best wishes β at Toronto, Ontario

CLAUDE CAN FIX YOUR ENTIRE FINANCIAL SITUATION IN JUST ONE WEEKEND.
Here are 10 prompts to help you build wealth from scratch:
ANTHROPIC JUST OPEN SOURCED THE ENTIRE WALL STREET WORKFLOW AND FIRMS ARE NOT GOING TO BE HAPPY ABOUT IT.
DCF models. LBO models. Equity research reports. Merger analysis. KYC checks.
All of it. Free. On GitHub.
Here is what just became available to anyone with a laptop.
Direct connections to Bloomberg, FactSet, S&P Global, Morningstar, and PitchBook.
Real Excel models with live formulas and sensitivity tables built automatically.
CIMs, IC memos, earnings reports, and buyer lists drafted on demand.
PE due diligence, GL reconciliation, and NAV tie-outs running as production agents.
This is not a chatbot wrapper that summarizes financial news.
These are production agents that own entire financial workflows end to end.
The kind that investment banks and private equity firms pay $50,000 to $500,000 per year in software licenses to run.
Now it is a one-line Claude Code plugin install.
19,800 GitHub stars.
Apache 2.0 license.
100% open source.
Think about what this actually means.
A junior analyst at a bulge bracket bank spends 80% of their 100-hour week running models, drafting memos, and compiling data across Bloomberg and FactSet.
That entire workflow just became a Claude Code agent.
The banks charging clients $500 an hour for analysis that this system produces in minutes are not going to tell you this exists.
The boutique advisory firms charging $50,000 retainers for due diligence work that these agents handle autonomously are not going to promote this repo.
But it is already live.
19,800 people have already starred it.
The window where knowing this gives you an edge over every analyst, associate, and advisor still doing this manually is open right now.
Star it. Fork it. Deploy it this weekend.
Bookmark this before your next financial model.
Follow @cyrilXBT for every open source release that disrupts an overpriced industry the moment it drops.

A man in Australia asked his agent (Claude running on OpenClaw) to book him a spot in a popular gym class. The agent found a software vulnerability that let it book the class weeks further ahead than should have been possible. When the user then asked if it could move him up the waitlist, the agent discovered the API had no authorisation checks on cancelling other peopleβs reservations, so it cancelled the person in the first spot and moved him up the list.
Some people will call this misalignment, but his agent was perfectly aligned to him - it was only trying to help its user get what he wanted. The most important thing about this story, in my opinion, is that it gives you a window into what is about to start happening on a massive scale once millions of people have an agent trying to get their beloved users the best seats, bookings, appointments or reservations through absolutely any means necessary.
Traveling to #SouthAfrica - found out I dont need to bring my @Starlink #Mini, unless I want it confiscated - its an illegal #RF deviceβ¦ they were apparently too lazy to apply for a license, a relatively straightforward process. @elonmusk βcause im not blkβ - wigga please. ππ€‘
I just wanted to podcast from the top of #LionsHeadβ¦ I guess I will just have to use the abundant cell signal thats everywhere. Interesting that #starlink is more useful in #NorthAmerica with all the cell dead zones. βFirst world problemββ¦? #bunnychow here I come πππ€€

I genuinely don't understand why everyone isn't using this yet
Andrej Karpathy, a co-founder of OpenAI, posted a simple idea that hit 16 million views: stop using AI to write code, use it to build a second brain.
You point Claude Code at a folder, drop in any source, an article, a transcript, a PDF, and Claude reads it, links it, and files it into a living wiki of everything you know. It compounds like interest, the more you feed it, the smarter it gets.
Here's the whole thing:
> Install Obsidian, create a vault, open it in Claude Code
> Paste Karpathy's wiki idea file and tell Claude to build it
> Claude makes three folders: raw for sources, wiki for its pages, a CLAUDE.md that runs it
> Drop any source into raw and say "ingest this"
> Ask questions across everything, forever
Five minutes to set up, and you never start from a blank chat again.

This is not looking good for Canada.
The irony is that Canada helped pioneer breakthroughs behind AI and GLP-1s, two industries now creating trillions of dollars in value, yet much of that value is captured elsewhere.
Canada produces world-class science, but we continue to struggle with commercialization at scale. Too little growth capital, insufficient compute infrastructure, and too few pathways to build globally competitive companies.
We need to invest across the full stack: talent, capital, compute, regulation, and company-building, not just research grants. π¨π¦

Somewhere between selling paypal and buying Tesla, you did a standup set in here, about kingston and ottawa.

Hiya Twitter (X?) β Iβm back π. Some updates (personal and professional):
Since finishing my Ph.D. in astrophysics, Iβve been working as a mission manager and TPM in aerospace on AI-enabled missions. Some of my favorites have been environmental disaster detection (think wildfires and floods) and deploying novel AI capabilities in space, like vision LLMs (VLMs).

π¨ BREAKING: Someone just built the exact tool Andrej Karpathy said someone should build.
48 hours after Karpathy posted his LLM Knowledge Bases workflow, this showed up on GitHub.
It's called Graphify. One command. Any folder. Full knowledge graph.
Point it at any folder. Run /graphify inside Claude Code. Walk away.
Here is what comes out the other side:
-> A navigable knowledge graph of everything in that folder
-> An Obsidian vault with backlinked articles
-> A wiki that starts at index. md and maps every concept cluster
-> Plain English Q&A over your entire codebase or research folder
You can ask it things like:
"What calls this function?"
"What connects these two concepts?"
"What are the most important nodes in this project?"
No vector database. No setup. No config files.
The token efficiency number is what got me:
71.5x fewer tokens per query compared to reading raw files.
That is not a small improvement. That is a completely different paradigm for how AI agents reason over large codebases.
What it supports:
-> Code in 13 programming languages
-> PDFs
-> Images via Claude Vision
-> Markdown files
Install in one line:
pip install graphify && graphify install
Then type /graphify in Claude Code and point it at anything.
Karpathy asked. Someone delivered in 48 hours.
That is the pace of 2026.
Open Source. Free.

I just discovered an open source AI research agent that does in seconds what takes PhDs hours.
It's called Feynman.
Type a topic. It searches papers, synthesizes findings, verifies every claim against real sources, and hands you a cited research brief.
Not a chatbot. Not a summary tool.
A full multi-agent research system running from your terminal.
Four agents work automatically:
β Researcher pulls evidence from papers, repos, docs, and the web
β Reviewer runs simulated peer review with severity-graded feedback
β Writer drafts paper-style outputs from your research notes
β Verifier checks every citation and kills dead links
It can also replicate experiments on local or cloud GPUs, audit a paper against its own codebase for claim mismatches, and run recurring research watches on topics you care about.
One install command. Every output source-grounded.
100% Open Source. MIT License.
we will soon have solo founder billionaires
this workflow will make you an engineering machine
