Meet Lumo. 🟩
The 15 squares of our logo, awake. 15 cubes, two eyes, no mouth, and a glow for dark streets.
You'll see more of Lumo from now on. Say hi 👋

Every name starts as a little light.
Then one day, it wakes up… and goes looking for someone with no name at all. 🟩
A .cell name is yours on Nervos: people can pay you by it, and find you by it.

Fiber rush is on ⚡
We only had one rule: paying over Fiber should feel like paying in any app. No node, no seed phrase, the keys on your own device.
This weekend, help us find the bugs. Come try it and tell us what you hit. 👇
The Fiber rush is on. ⚡
For 60 hours, come test Fiber, the flagship protocol on Nervos, with no node to run.
Curious how? Join our beta and find out. Starts today, Saturday 24 October, 12:00 UTC, until Monday 26 October, 24:00 UTC. Testnet, test coins.

Three packages for building with .cell names, all on npm.
cellula-mcp gives an AI agent .cell names. Ask it whether sofia.cell is free: it reads the chain and says yes, 3,346.5 CKB a year plus a 240 CKB deposit. To register, it hands you a link to sign with your own wallet. It holds no key and sends nothing.
npx -y cellula-mcp
cellula-sdk 0.3.1 registers and manages names, signs in with a name, and connects the Cellula passkey wallet (testnet).
cellula-id resolves a name in one call, with no dependencies.

You shouldn't have to pick between easy or yours. On CKB, we're building easy and yours 👇
Your face is your signature
🏷️ Pay a name, not a string of characters
⚡ Tiny payments that land in a blink
📱 Your phone checks the chain itself. No server to trust
🌱 Idle coins that grow while you sleep
🕶️ Get paid without your history on display
🛡️ A vault built for the quantum era
🧩 Objects that live fully on chain
🤝 Lose your wallet? Friends you trust get you back in. Nobody else can
All in one app. Test it with us on the 26th.
Spots are limited.

Did you know that if you invite your contacts to sign up for cellula.id using your referral link, 10% of the value of their name is credited instantly to your wallet?
100 seems reasonable 😄 come join the testing! 👇
We're looking for beta testers.
Required: an Android phone. You must be able to install a test APK on it.
You'll also need some free testnet CKB from the faucet. Claim 10,000, that should be enough: faucet.nervos.org
You get a reward and an official Cellula tester badge, as a DOB.
To join:
1. Follow us
2. Share this post
3. Join the Testers topic on our Telegram: t.me/cellula_id/6
By joining, you agree to all of the above.
One more thing: we'll be quiet for a week. Our devs deserve some rest after months of building nonstop. We'll be back from Tahiti with fresh energy.
In the meantime, claim your name on cellula.id and join our Telegram.
Communities don’t grow because of announcements.
They grow because people keep showing up, building and caring.
Those people should never be invisible to the ones guiding the space.

My avatar is alive.
Drawn by code from my name, so it's one of a kind. Stroke it, tap it, see who fed it. No .cell name needed to interact.
Feed it from 1 CKB with a CKB wallet: savings, a tip jar, a little crowdfunding. Use it the way you want.

Meet maria.cell's avatar. It's hungry.
Hold a .cell as a deed and it wakes up with a belly: anyone can feed it CKB with a note, and every meal lights a cell in the colour of whoever paid.
Find it at cellula.id/maria.cell and tap the little picture next to the name.

This week on cellula.id:
· your .cell name now works in MetaMask's send field
· a name held as a deed gets a living avatar, and anyone can feed it
· your name on Nostr, Bluesky and Mastodon
Every change, week by week: cellula.id/changelog
up for grabs 😄

Loved this, so we made you one back.
What if you'd tried it with your own name? rypto.cell is still free. Let's see who claims it first, you or someone else.

I’ve tried, failed, and tried again. Not every attempt worked, but each one taught me something. I’m still here. Same goal. Better approach.

What is a .cell? A name you really own: it lives in your wallet, next to your coins, not on somebody's server.
One name for your page, Lightning, CKB, Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC, checked against the chain, not trusted.

Watch it work ↓
Three days of cellula.id.
cellula.id went live, and three days ago you found us. A lot has happened since, and more is being finished behind the scenes. Here's the update.
Live on testnet, incoming to mainnet:
• A faster app. Explore now loads a page at a time instead of reading every name in your browser.
• Your avatar as you type. Pick a name and its mark lights up before you claim it. It's worked out from the name itself, so it's the same everywhere.
• Names held as a deed: a Spore that controls the name. A deed wakes the name's living being, and it works as a piggy bank. Anyone can feed it 73 CKB or more and leave a note. It piles up inside the deed until you empty it, and goes with the deed if you sell it.
Done:
• Open for anyone to check: the contracts, which rebuild byte for byte, the resolver, which is one docker run, and our write-ups.
• CCC 1.23.0 shipped name resolution, our first feature in it. Jan Xie's ckbadger explorer now reads .cell natively. Next on our list: the CKB Explorer.
• a.cell and x.cell are taken. 34 of the 36 one-character names are still free.
Next for the beings: Fiber, for meals under 73 CKB.
And unlike most apps: if we vanished tomorrow, your name would still be yours until it expires. Anyone could renew it, and the app itself is published on CKB, so anyone could rebuild it from a public node.
As long as Nervos runs, .cell runs.

cellula.id Is live. Still don't fully believe it. 👀

cellular.id is live.
So, what are .cell names?
Today, getting paid online usually means handing someone a string of letters and numbers you cannot remember. And you cannot easily check a bank account number, or on a blockchain address, something like ckb1qzda0cr08m85hc8jln... is just too much, one typo and the money is gone...
cellula.id takes those details and turn them into a name you chose: maria.cell, joao.cell, whatever you pick. Set it up once and it keeps working, because you hold the only key that moves it, not us. It is yours in a way an account with a company or a bank never is, and it keeps working even if we disappear.
People can pay your name in the money they already use: euros, reais or rupees, or, for anyone who does use crypto currencies, your name also accepts CKB, bitcoin, ether, solana, and instant payments over Lightning or Fiber.
Before any payment goes through, the payer's browser checks it against the blockchain, so a tampered link warns them rather than quietly taking their money.
Your name can even be protected today by a key built to survive computers with quantum technology, dispite the tech still being far into the future.
This is all great, we know, and the best part, you do not have to take our word for any of this: the code behind it is public, anyone can run their own copy of the lookup, and even the app itself lives on a blockchain, where its own page checks it against what is actually running.
A name like yours, 5 characters long, about $6 a year.
