Had to remove the I Quit My Job because it just didn’t look right. So now I’ll be switching to OPI’s Makeout Side instead. It’s similar, but a shade darker with more bluish undertones I think?

Guess those sparkling “no crime” statistics will have to be revised, should this asshole be convicted. I don’t doubt something terrible happened that night and the person arrested did it.

Usually the only murders we have here are domestic violence type crimes. Throw the police department something else and it’s a crapshoot whether or not it will be treated appropriately, as was the case here.

I’m still curious why the employee suspected of leaking information to the defendant and his family was allowed to resign and didn’t face any disciplinary or criminal actions. Seems like that should be a no brainer.

I guess I’m looking with historical context and my own genealogical roots. I had ancestors (Black women) who were raped by white men and bore those children. But if you just use recent social conventions, I guess white mom, Black dad makes more sense as the original blend.

I made eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast for my dad for breakfast. He normally eats one egg and a piece of toast. Today he had 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, the hash browns and a slice of toast. It’s nice to see him eat for a change.
