In 2005, I was a nobody with a book about the 101 worst ideas in sports. I basically cold-emailed Ernie for a blurb. He replied: "I was laughing out loud a few times while my wife was trying to watch the news" and blurbed this nobody's 1st book. Forever indebted to this legend.
