Singlish definitely not my favorite application of the English language but it’s pretty based that you can just be like Can? And people understand exactly what you’re asking lmao

It’s fascinating to see how many people were surprised by just how loud the roar was when Lewis Hamilton overtook Isack Hadjar. That roar was probably one of the loudest a driver could ever receive, even compared to the kind of cheer they get at their home race. Lewis Hamilton wasn’t just representing Mercedes during his time with the team. He was also representing Petronas and we will never forget everything he did during those years. The memories he gave us, the countless times he visited Malaysia and the connection he built with our country. He’s basically an honorary Malaysian. The roar you heard for Lewis Hamilton wasn’t just the sound of fans cheering for a driver. It was the roar of a people who had been waiting to welcome him home! ❤️🇲🇾
Absolute BIBLICAL roars from the crowd as Lewis overtook Isack. Martin was blown away how they could hear it in the commentary box, this was seriously something. What a crowd 🔥🔥🔥

I'm Malaysian. Seeing the Network School folk crap on their previous home, is truly quite low class. Really strong opinions, thin sample.

Everyone says Singapore was “kicked out” of Malaysia. But Tunku Abdul Rahman’s hand may have been more forced than we remember. By 1965, tensions between two competing visions of Malaysia were becoming dangerous. Lee Kuan Yew pushed for a “Malaysian Malaysia” - a country where citizenship, rather than race, determined political rights. UMNO, meanwhile, believed the Malays needed constitutional protections and a special position in what they regarded as their historic homeland. Neither argument existed in a vacuum. Singapore had already seen deadly racial riots in 1964. And politically, LKY was becoming a formidable national figure- articulate, capable, and able to speak directly to Malay voters in fluent Bahasa Melayu. To Tunku, the question may no longer have been simply whether Singapore belonged in Malaysia. It was whether keeping Singapore inside could eventually turn a political struggle into something much worse. So separation happened. Four years later, Malaysia itself suffered the May 13 racial riots after a fiercely contested election, a reminder of just how combustible race and politics were in that era. Today, Singaporeans and Malaysians mostly remember each other as neighbours, relatives, rivals, friends, with plenty of banter in between. Such as whom own nasi lemak (ahem, Indonesia has something to say here) or if Klang or Johor BKT beat Singapore’s. History was far messier than “Singapore got kicked out.” On this Merdeka weekend, worth remembering the difficult choices that shaped Malaya, Malaysia and Singapore. Selamat Hari Merdeka. 🇲🇾

Strange that Almaty, Kazakhstan gets mentioned as the Network School new home, instead of calling it a spot near Kyrgyzstan or near Xinjiang. At least the country gets name recognition, not like an island near Singapore. What did NS really do for its host country, Malaysia? I’m a techno-optimist, and Malaysian, and all I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish.

Beza orang kreatif dengan orang tak kreatif bila execute benda guna AI: Orang kreatif rasa humbled by the technology. Orang tak kreatif rasa dia terpaling creative. Dipanggil slop terus merentan. It's not the car, it's the driver. It's not the plane, it's the pilot.
