With all our challenges, SF & Bay Area can & will recover. But allowing public transit to crater is one of the most efficient ways to undermine that recovery.

Urban fragmentation does indeed suck. At the very least, South San Francisco, Daly City, Brisbane, San Bruno, etc. should all be annexed into San Francisco.
