Crypto payments shouldn’t feel this complicated. @payflipxyz is building a simpler way to pay anyone, from anything you have, to anything they want. Real-time payments. Multiple networks. Zero unnecessary complexity. ETH, SOL, BNB, TRON, Polygon and more.

Gm CT one feature I think is pretty interesting on @Wahoopredict is you can make short term predictions on assets like BTC, ETH,SOL,XRP and DOGE even on timeframes as short as 1 or 5 minutes. So instead of just watching the market move, you’re making a call on what happens next.

Been looking into @Wahoopredict lately. It’s a prediction market where you can put your conviction to the test by predicting outcomes across different events. Instead of just watching an event unfold, you get to take a position on what you think will happen. Sports, crypto, politics, culture prediction markets are becoming an interesting way to turn information and conviction into something actionable. Wahoo Predict is one I’m keeping an eye on. Worth checking out if you’re into prediction markets or just want to see what the space is building.

Aster just created a system where projects need to lock 1M $ASTER for 4 years to get a perpetual market listed. That immediately raises the interesting question? Why would a project willingly lock $660K for four years just to get listed?
AOS-2 enters into force. The Aster Open Standards began with AOS-1, which opened spot listings to projects meeting a published set of criteria. AOS-2 now extends the same principle to perpetual markets, where listing has traditionally depended on private negotiation. Under AOS-2, an eligible applicant stakes 1,000,000 $ASTER, locked for four years with no early exit, and the application proceeds to an on-chain validator vote. If the vote passes, Aster's risk team completes the market's configuration and the perpetual is scheduled to go live T+1. If it does not, the stake is returned in full. Opening access does not lower the standard. The staking terms and voting process are governed by the same published rules for every applicant, while each market’s leverage and other risk parameters are set through Aster’s risk controls. The rules are set down in public. The decision is recorded on-chain. AOS-3 will follow.

i read and article that made me ask myself this question is @injective becoming “the onchain Nasdaq”? this thesis is credible but still early why I say so is because injevtive has built finance first rails: this includes : onchain order books, fast execution, native USDC, cross-chain settlement, and markets spanning crypto, equities, commodities, and FX. A Thread 🧵

first things first is that I need to explain what exactly is AOS-2 Aster Open Standards 2(AOS-2). is aster’s framework for allowing projects to apply for a perpetual futures/perpetual market listing on aster through a public, on-chain process, rather than relying on private listing negotiations. How it works A project wants its token to have a perpetual market on Aster. Instead of simply asking Aster to list it, the project would instead go through this process → Meets the eligibility requirements. Market presence — Token is listed on Binance Alpha or a Tier 2 exchange  Circulating market cap — ≥ $10,000,000 USD at the time of application Market Maker — Applicant must provide a designated Market Maker wallet address that is already connected to the Aster platform Note: Each wallet address may submit only one application. Addresses associated with an already-listed token cannot re-apply. → Stakes 1,000,000 ASTER. Those 1M ASTER are locked for 4 years (208 weeks) from the date of successful stake. stake cannot be withdrawn early. Note: staking still accrues rewards under the same applicable terms as the standard Aster staking pool. → Submit the application form. Fill in your project information truthfully applications containing invalid, inconsistent, or unverifiable information may be rejected. The application is locked as read-only after submission and cannot be modified, so review all fields carefully before submitting. → Review & Validator Vote. Once your application passes the eligibility and stake checks,  it proceeds to an onchain validator vote. Upon vote passing, the Risk team completes parameter configuration. The market goes live T+1 after Risk Config is complete. If the vote does not pass, the stake is returned to the applicant immediately.

So why would a project agree to this? Because getting a perpetual market can be valuable. Perps give traders a way to speculate on a token with leverage, hedge exposure, and trade it without actually holding the underlying asset. For a project, having its token available as a perpetual market can mean: → More visibility → More trading activity → More liquidity → More ways for traders to gain exposure to the token → Potentially a deeper derivatives market around its ecosystem If Aster can become a major venue for perpetual trading, being listed there could be worth a serious amount of capital. so projects face a trade-off: Is access to Aster's perp market worth locking 1M ASTER for four years? But there's another layer. The 1M ASTER isn't simply sent away. It's locked. Meaning those tokens aren't freely circulating while the lock is active. So every successful AOS-2 application potentially does two things at once: Creates demand for $ASTER & removes 1M ASTER from liquid circulation for four years. That's where things sound good for ASTER holders. Imagine 10 projects qualify. 10M ASTER locked. 100 projects? 100M ASTER locked. Obviously, I'm not saying Aster will get 100 projects. The point is that the mechanism scales with adoption. AOS-2 itself isn't the bullish catalyst. Adoption is. If projects consistently decide that Aster's perp infrastructure is valuable enough to justify locking 1M ASTER for four years, AOS-2 becomes a serious demand and supply-lock mechanism. If projects don't? Then the 1M requirement becomes a barrier that nobody wants to cross. AOS-2 doesn't need hype. It needs projects willing to put $600K+ of ASTER on the line for four years.

Ever thought, what if there were a platform you could make your own prediction and trade on it? Well, @PantaHQ got you covered. Permissionless creation, creator royalties, P2P trading, and uncapped pari-mutuel payouts natively on Solana. 🌐 panta.market @SuperteamNG
