I’m not always on X. I get most of my news there, around 80%,and the other 20% from news feeds. The rest of the time I’m out living life, shooting pool, catching local entertainment, running around doing whatever needs doing during the day.
Last night I was talking with a few friends and brought up what’s going on in France, with cities getting burned. The response was basically, “Oh yeah, I think I heard something about that.” And it’s not just overseas stuff. It can be almost anything. Most people simply don’t know what’s actually happening.
We are in deep trouble. Most people are out living their lives and only catch a vague headline if they catch anything at all. Cities burning in France? “Yeah, I think I heard something.” Same story on almost everything. Hard to course correct when half the country doesn’t even know what’s happening.
