Great report out of Cairn University that James Dolezal visited campus yesterday & talked w/students & alum. (James was hit by a car in late June, so this public appearance is a wonderful mark of recovery.)

In these last days (of 2026), my task is to shape this into its final form before it is received and redacted by the editorial scribal elite and hopefully launched into the literary ether to be assigned either ἀναγινώσκεσθαι or to the outer darkness of the remaindered.

Congrats to @Lanier_Greg on his new book! This may be the most colorful book on the topic and possibly the only one to discuss the very recently published fragment P.Oxy. 5575.

A great piece from my friend and Cedarville professor, @chedspellman, on what we professors can learn about student feedback from the methods of game designers!

A wonderful summary of the entire story of Scripture:
'With Your faithful love, You will lead the people You have redeemed; You will guide them to Your holy dwelling with Your strength.'

My forthcoming book with Brandon Smith will be released in January and is available with a 40% pre-order discount.
It's brief (130 pp) and seeks to show the value of both close reading and theological reflection.

The Gospel was shared with me, at least in part, 17 times before I believed it.
1. Don't give up sharing the Gospel with people who don't want to hear it.
2. Don't give up praying for people you think would never believe.
3. Hope in a patient God who loves to save rebels.

One of my favorite features of this project is that the book order will follow the Hebrew MT rather than LXX. I dare to hope (against longstanding tradition) that other Bible publishers will be willing to do the same.

Bob was a man of complete integrity, honesty, and kindness. He has left a legacy and his ministry was marked by faithfulness and excellence.
I’m sad to hear of the passing of Robert H. Stein. I never had him for class, but he and my dad were colleagues for many years.

Thrilled that today is Release Day for my new book with @BakerAcademic @LexhamPress! It's called Waking from the Dust: Daniel 12:2 and Resurrection Hope in Biblical Theology.
This monograph is my detailed assertion of the importance of Daniel 12:2: this verse is the climactic OT expression of resurrection hope, as well as the most influential verse on the resurrection hope of the NT authors.
I dedicated it to Stephen Dempster, and I was thrilled that Dempster, Jim Hamilton, and Sam Emadi offered endorsements for it.
If you're interested in the book of Daniel, if you find the presence and development of resurrection hope to be an interesting topic, and if you enjoy biblical theology, I hope you'll check out the book!
