We’ve been busy and we don’t like to talk much, but…
Rolling out Texture 2.0 - the isolated lending with vaults to mainnet beta next month. What to expect:
- isolated lending pools each with two correlated assets vs each other, isolated margin and interest rate and no cascade liquidations as a result
- lp tokens of one pool can be used as collateral in another pool, so you earn yield on your collateral, while keeping isolated risks
- liquidity to pools automatically distributed from single currency lending vaults, that receive LP deposits and passive drive yields from various risks strategies
- lending vaults are set up and governed by professional third party curators, major asset managers with loads of similar experience from other chains at beta launch
- audits and verifications from several major firms with lending protocol experience from Solana and isolated lenders from other chains
Solana lending landscape will be more diversified soon, many new assets including yield derivatives are coming, each deserves its own pool with its own set of risks, rates, utilizations and rewards. Lenders deserve custom risk adjusted collateral exposure through vaults.
Got to say it here, it’s very different approach to lending vs what Kamino does. Huge respect to their team and product, using it daily and keeping lots of personal liq there, but Solana DeFi ecosystem has to be more diversified to achieve better yield price discovery and risks concentration.
