In case you're curious: I love AI. The self awareness is brutal. I'm still using it. Am I the fool?

Almost five years since the Teia community came together, and it's still open-source and run by the people who use it. If you mint on Teia, this is the list of contracts your work actually lives on. Worth a bookmark, and a thank-you to everyone who keeps it running. teia.cafe/contracts
Here is the list of contracts that TEIA (@TeiaCommunity) uses as part of their open-source, community-owned platform. There's been a lot going on since the community came together 5 years ago!. Part of minting your work on TEIA (teia.art or teia.cafe) is that once you're in the system, you get access to all of these features all at once, which are open to the public and every transaction is recorded as a immutable record on the blockchain itself. It also puts your work onto the open markets on Tezos, where it automatically distributes your work to places like objkt.com (@objktcom) and other independent projects that leverage the community's collective activities and work - all the way back to when the movement first started. In the past, the complexity of setting up blockchain systems were a hurdle to doing it - the sheer amount of information stored made it hard to even wrap your head around. But with AI systems now, we have seen a revival of new projects pop up in the last few months - WTF game show (@WTF_gameshow), The Wall (@thewall_today), TezTowers (@TezTowers), TezCity (@tezcity), TezTree - not to mention the 21 art events that TEIA itself has put on all over the world through our DAO vote. When used in the right way, blockchain systems can be a great thing - permissionless = freedom, transparency = security and trust. One of the few bright spots left on the internet, imo

Last night a few Tezos bakers noticed blocks filling up much faster than usual and started talking about it. Within hours, QuipuSwap was urging people to withdraw liquidity from its old V1 pools. No fancy alert system. Just people watching the chain and speaking up. If you've still got liquidity in QuipuSwap V1, go check their warning.

⚠️ Security Alert for our users! We strongly recommend withdrawing liquidity from legacy QuipuSwap V1 pools, particularly tzBTC/TEZ, wWBTC/TEZ and BTCtz/TEZ, due to potential security risks. 🔐 Other legacy V1 pools also use outdated contracts that cannot be upgraded. We

Excited to discuss TezCity.com again tomorrow with @TezosGaming x @TezosCommons at 4 PM EST. ♥️
Someone claimed plot #208 in TezTowers yesterday. Someone else opened a warehouse district. Tezonia got its own .tez name. Is this what a revival looks like from the inside? Maybe. Or maybe we just like having neighbors. Tomorrow on Tuesday Tezday, we're talking with @IdaHerself from TezCity about what happens when people start building places to call their own.

I don’t know whether or not to be excited about this.
Google DeepMind dropped four AI agents into a Minecraft server and walked away. No instructions. No assigned roles. They gave them one single objective: defeat the ender dragon. and damn.. The agents, running on the new Gemini 4 Argon model, didn't just play the game. They hacked their way through it. They used an open-source library to control their avatars. They started talking to each other in the game chat. They built a shared memory system. Then, they started writing code. To survive, gather resources, and build tools, the agents autonomously planned, wrote, and debugged 2,783 unique programs. Nobody told them how to work together. But they organically figured out how to divide the labor. They shared discoveries in real time. When one agent died, the others coordinated a rescue mission to recover its dropped loot. They died 605 times. But 27 hours and 14 minutes later, the Ender Dragon fell. The researchers watched the entire run on a live dashboard. They had the ability to pause or intervene. They never had to. The breakthrough here has absolutely nothing to do with video games. It is a terrifying proof of concept for autonomous AI micro-societies. We just watched a swarm of agents enter an open, complex environment, organize themselves into a team, and write thousands of lines of code to execute a massive, long-horizon project. Without a single human manager. Everyone is arguing about whether AI can replace a junior developer. DeepMind just proved that AI can replace the entire engineering team. Today, they are beating Minecraft. Tomorrow, they are building your entire software backend while you sleep.

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with @TezosGaming about TezCity.com!
Ida Belle spent years collecting and supporting artists on Tezos. Then she started wondering what more she could do between purchases. That question became TezCity. This week on TezTalks Live, we meet the collector behind the platform and discover what she's building for the Tezos art community.
