OVH's Strasbourg DC is down
Thankfully, no critical systems were impacted on Elity
I just had to disable the UHC cloud scaling on SBG5, and we're all good 🙂
I finally switched my home computer to a Arch/Windows dual-boot and got it working pretty good
Was easier than expected actually! Most troubles I got were from the official NVIDIA drivers acting wonky
Well, I created a separate twitter account for all the non-dev/for-fun stuff I do (drawing and 3D animation mostly)
It's all in French though
Check it out if you are interested!
The move from the Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts feels right to me, Microsoft always has had centralized authentication for its services and games, except for Java Minecraft
I do not think "account security" is their primary motive for the move tho
Only time will tell
I had to reboot because the KDE lock screen decided to not accept my password anymore
Incredible security I have there 👀
I was waiting for such a system to appear on osu!lazer, but I guess it will be implemented in stable first
I personally see this as a positive change overall, if this is made optional (as some commits suggest)
Mojang waited for me to update Elity to 1.16 before releasing 1.16.1, what a timing

JVM Runtime information is like:
"4.425Gb of heap + 0.124Gb of non-heap = 4.549Gb total"
But the linux kernel is like "eeeeh, that's around 6.481Gb total, let's kill it 🤷♀️"
Remember our recent DDoSs locking our proxy?
Well, high CPU usage was mostly caused by the GELF logger compressing thousands of logs a second
It handles them way better now with reduced verbosity and compression disabled
One container.
That's all it takes for iptables/routing to fall apart if it's misconfigured
Let's be more cautious with the production environment next time 🙃
OK this is sad now
Superstar saga, Partners in time and Bowser's inside story were the best games of their platforms in my opinion
We may never see the M&L franchise ever again :c
