This handle has unknowingly handed the Sikh community a goldmine.
They’ve self-exposed the propaganda behind the fabricated claim of 35,000 Hindu deaths in the 80s and 90s … a narrative repeatedly used to defame Sikhs in Punjab.
We’ve broken down the entire podcast into small clips to expose this propaganda. Request everyone to read every tweet and watch every video in this thread.
The final video in this thread is enough to unveil how communal and divisive politics is being weaponized in Punjab to spread hatred and polarize society for political gains.
Please share this thread in maximum numbers.
Our movement for justice to Khalistani terror victims takes a leap forward! Grateful to Shri Vijay Bhardwaj, VHP Intl., for highlighting our cause on leading media channel News18 Punjab. Together, we stand stronger. 🙏

Diljit Dosanjh’s Punjab 95 is based on court records, CBI rpts & NHRC docs, & story of Jaswant Singh Khalra, who exposed fake encounters & secret cremations of Sikh youth in 80s-90s.
BJP’s @rpsinghkhalsa had to beg his govt for release. That’s level of censorship against Sikhs
I am deeply perturbed by the recent reaction of @diljitdosanjh,
who has portrayed Sardar Jaswant Singh Khalra in Punjab ’95. When even an artist known to consciously stay away from political commentary feels compelled to speak out, it reflects the depth of pain within the Sikh community over the continued blocking of the film’s release.
I urge Shri @prasoonjoshi_, Chairman of the CBFC, to recognise that this is not a matter of technical delay -withholding this film is being perceived as a continuation of the very suppression Sikhs endured under the Congress governments of the 1980s and 1990s. The community still carries the trauma of state excesses from that era -unlawful disappearances, custodial killings, and mass illegal cremations — all of which Sardar Jaswant Singh Khalra courageously exposed before being abducted and murdered for speaking the truth.
By preventing the release of Punjab ’95, the CBFC is unintentionally reinforcing the silence once imposed by that same apparatus and inflicting fresh emotional hurt on a community that has never received closure for those crimes.
Based on my conversation with the film’s director, @HoneyTrehan, the film draws entirely from judicial records and documented court proceedings, including CBI findings. This is not fictitious cinema - it is verified history.
Sardar Khalra is not merely a Sikh figure; he is a global human-rights icon. His name is taught in international institutions, and public spaces abroad honour his legacy. Yet in the very nation whose Constitution he defended with his life, his story remains stalled from reaching its own people.
In recent years, films such as The Kashmir Files, The Kerala Story and The Sabarmati Report were allowed to be released without obstruction. If narrative freedom is respected for those accounts, then a film rooted in judicial evidence cannot be treated differently.
As India marks 50 years since the Emergency -a period remembered for censorship and the silencing of truth - we must not give hardliners an opportunity to weaponise this moment against us.
The continued withholding of Punjab ’95 risks what feels like a second disappearance of Sardar Jaswant Singh Khalra -this time not from physical existence, but from our collective constitutional memory as a nation.
As on 2nd Nov. we approach 30 years since his abduction, I appeal to the Chairman of CBFC to uphold the constitutional right of citizens to access truth, and permit the release of Punjab ’95 -uncut, unaltered, and unafraid.

Whatever happened with CJI by RW hatemongers is highly deplorable & deserves action.
But when @SpeakerSandhwan tagged @DGPPunjabPolice in 2023 asking for action against those who issued genocide threats & abused Sikh Gurus, no one moved @BhagwantMann @SGPCAmritsar @harjotbains

Indian Right Wing is morally bankrupt and ethically rotten.
They generally pretend to respect Sikh Gurus but now indulged in defaming Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji because their bosses now support Taliban.
Their ancestors too sided with Mughals to martyr Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s family.

Taliban came from Durrani/Abdali tribe once led by Ahmed Shah Abdali who invaded India many times in 18th century and looted wealth, abducted women, children. Sikhs fought them to rescue captives.
Today RW mocks Sikhs, and rolls red carpet for Abdali’s offspring.

When it suits them, RW mocks Sikhs for fleeing Taliban terror, but same RW celebrates friendship with Taliban when power demands it.
Now you understand why hill kings joined Mughals to attack Guru Gobind Singh Ji & his family.

Diljit is paying the price for being a Sikh. Otherwise, Hero, Wonder Cement, Royal Stag, Havells, Vimal Paan Masala, and Asian Paints sponsored the India–Pakistan cricket match, and no Sanghi protested outside these brands’ showrooms.

Check how much hatred @TheAusToday has for Sikhs
Sikh boy Sukhmandeep Singh won NSW State Champion but they removed ‘Singh’ from his name.
When reporting truck driver arrest in Canada they made sure to add ‘Singh’.
Why @Pallavi_Aus @DrAmitSarwal ?

Been 30 years since the Shaheedi of Bhai Jaswant Singh Khalra. He exposed the disappearances of thousands of Sikhs in Punjab & was abducted & murdered for daring to speak truth. His light against darkness continues to guide us.

Indian media is the global HQ of disinformation, bigotry & minority hate.
@ItsShubhangi Why delete your tweet blaming Sikhs without evidence?
Fabricated fear-mongering doesn’t become journalism just because you wear a press badge.

BJP Punjab’s @BJP4Punjab stance on Operation Bluestar is interesting.
At first, they called out “Bharat Sarkar” (Govt of India) for attacking Darbar Sahib, even referring to the victims as martyrs.
But when someone pulled strings from Delhi, the posts vanished.

Our handle was withheld for exposing & opposing vile propaganda that tried to drag Sikhs & Darbar Sahib into Indo-Pak conflict.
It’s now clear that this fear-mongering was a coordinated attack by godi media, RW, dirty politicians, and a few complicit army officers.
Not surprised to see army officers being used as tools to spread lies and serve the ruling party’s political narrative against Sikhs.
In 1984, the army was physically used to attack Darbar Sahib. In 2025, its officers are being used to spread hatred against the holiest Sikh shrine. Nothing has changed in 40 years, the obsession with tarnishing the image of Darbar Sahib, whether through weapons or propaganda, still persists.

There is a reason why the army and its senior officers should have stayed away from playing the political game of the ruling party or the leader. Stick to your professional role and shun the PR game.
Indian Army Officer’s Statement About Deploying Air Defence Guns at Sri Harmandar Sahib is Shockingly Untrue – Head Granthi
– @SGPCPresident Also States No Such Permission Was Granted, Nor Did Any Such Incident Occur
Sri Amritsar, May 20 –
Responding to the recent claim made by Indian Army Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D’Cunha during an interview with a channel—where he stated that air defence guns were deployed at Sri Harmandar Sahib amid the recent India-Pakistan tensions—Giani Amarjeet Singh, Additional Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, has called the statement shockingly untrue and outrightly rejected it.
He clarified that the management of Sri Harmandar Sahib had cooperated with the district administration’s guidelines regarding the city-wide blackout by switching off exterior and upper lights of the complex within the specified time frame. However, lights at locations where religious code of conduct (Maryada) is observed were kept on, and the sanctity the religious place was maintained with full responsibility.
Giani Amarjeet Singh asserted that the claim made by the Army officer that the Head Granthi gave permission for the deploying air defence guns during “Operation Sindhoor” is completely false. He emphasized that no such permission was ever granted, nor was any such deployment allowed at this sacred site. He reiterated that the daily religious practices at Sri Darbar Sahib, the Langar of Guru Ramdas Ji, places of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, and other related gurdwaras were conducted as per strict protocols, and no one has the right to interfere with them.
Despite the tense situation in recent days, the full religious code of conduct continued at Sri Harmandar Sahib with dedication and discipline. Giani Amarjeet Singh made it clear that no lights were turned off at any religious site where Maryada was being observed, even during the blackout. He expressed surprise and concern over why such a statement was made by the Army officer and asserted confidently that no permission for installing guns was ever given.
Regarding the same statement by Army officer, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami also said that while the administration contacted them only about switching off the lights during the blackout, they fully cooperated in the interest of administrative responsibility while maintaining the sanctity of the ongoing Maryada. However, there was no contact from any Army official regarding the installation of air defence guns at Sri Harmandar Sahib.
He said that based on consultation with Additional Head Granthi Giani Amarjeet Singh, only the outer lights were turned off following the district administration’s guidelines. Advocate Dhami pointed out that even during the blackout, large numbers of devotees continued to visit and do Sewa (voluntary service) at Sri Harmandar Sahib, and had there been any such event like gun deployment, the Sangat (congregation) would certainly have noticed and seen it.
He expressed surprise that an Army officer would propagate such a claim and demanded that the Government of India clarify why such statements are being issued by Army officials. Dhami acknowledged the commendable role played by the Army and the country during the tense circumstances, but emphasized that spreading such falsehoods about the central religious place of Sikhs days after the events is shockingly untrue. As SGPC President, Advocate Dhami clearly stated that no permission was ever granted for the deployment of guns.
Sri Harmandar Sahib’s Head Granthi, Giani Raghbir Singh, also clarified that although he was on an international visit during the Army operation, there was no communication with him regarding any gun deployment, nor did any such incident occur at Sri Darbar Sahib. He too described the Army officer’s statement as shockingly untrue.
