Emergency Fellow. Coffee-fuelled, Exams done. Ready to step up for another shift on the front line. Hard job, but bloody rewarding. Opinions my own.

I give and receive handovers in the resus room. My practice is: Any immediate needs? - if so, perform them immediately If not, verbal handover on ambulance stretcher ONE time, then leave and clean equipment before returning to ask if any final questions. What's your practice?
Ahh. So this is why it was called the DORM study #FOAMed

That time the lateral neck XR was worthwhile. Patient thought her pills got stuck on the way down. Little did she know her pill box had a stow away sewing needle.
