I do have to wonder if these people making $500K per year with no savings are almost all entrepreneurs spending on their business and doctors with a tonne of student debt.
People always bite the hand that feeds them. You give them an inch, they try to take a mile, and then they blame you for pulling back after they try to take advantage of the initial arrangement. Every single time, gratitude eventually turns into entitlement.

For the fools out there, Zelensky himself posted about using Starlink for offensive drone strikes, which has always been against Starlink’s terms of service:
The idea that renting is throwing away money isn't because of any system, it is the nature of the populous. This belief exists in every country across the world, regardless of which system governs them.
In fact, the US is the country where this dynamic is the least prevalent. The system in the US does a better job than ever other country on Earth to encourage people to weigh the costs and benefits of renting instead of just defaulting to home ownership the instant it can be crammed into the budget.
In today's market the landlord is subsidizing around a third of their tenant's shelter costs.
It's even more if you factor in the opportunity cost of the equity value of the property they are renting out.
If you've worked 20 years for the same company and you got laid off, you are dancing out the door.
That's two years salary in severance up front. Everyone who's been working in the same company for more than 7 years is dreaming for this.
🚨 ANOTHER CANADIAN BANK. MORE LAYOFFS.
Now CIBC employees are reporting layoffs in digital and technology operations, including workers over 50 with more than 20 years of service.
RBC. Now CIBC.
Canadian banks are expanding operations overseas while experienced workers here are losing their jobs.
At what point do we start asking what is happening to Canada's white-collar middle class?
Fame or notoriety is a cost, not the benefit that many think it is.
Some people are willing to trade privacy for wealth, but only foolish people want to get famous for the sake of being famous.
I learned there exists people with such short term thinking that if they made a week's worth of their typical wages in a two days, they would voluntarily drop the rest of the week's shifts until they needed money again to survive.
The concept of saving money to use later just doesn't compute with some people and there's no point in trying to help them as it only enables their destructive behavior even more.
There's been no tangible change in the economy or any major events. The market will be green again soon.
The populous likes to hate on the technology and the system in it's entirety, rather than how it's being used.
Every new innovation has the potential to be used for harm, and then large masses of people call for end to the innovation.
For example, using robots to stop criminals would be a great thing. But you're afraid it's going to be used against regular law abiding people.
Well instead trying to stop the advancement of robots, focus your efforts on stopping those who would use robots to do evil things.
Safer world
Hopefully, police forces will have 1000s of them (as soon as possible, when the tech is ready), plus drones in the air.
They will arrive at the scene in seconds in huge flying drones and catch every last criminal and vandal (like the ones we saw recently in France), but in every country, so every criminal and thief will be hunted down and thrown in jail to rot, where they belong.
The world will be a 1000x better place when every one of them has been eliminated from society, at least until we have technology capable of fixing the brains of such people.
It takes hundreds of years to build a great city, but only a few thousand worthless criminals and a few days to ruin and trash it.
This is why it is so important to eliminate these enemies of humanity from society.
Being better informed about markets is why we understand we are average. We can't beat the markets in the long run so it's better just to ride along with the average.
The three most common financially damaging mistakes that the average person could make is:
1. Buying a house you can't afford or have no business owning
2. Going deep into debt for a degree you have no idea how it's going to make you a living
3. Marrying the wrong person
The average healthy years of life in Canada is about 67. Meaning the average person who retires at 65 gets 2 years to enjoy it before they are bogged down by constant medical issues.
Wow, getting an entire 1% of the fraud amount as commission! There's going to be a lot of new millionaires.
.@POTUS: Today, I'm thrilled to announce the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program. Americans will now be able to report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities via a new website — and they'll be given a commission of one percent.
It's not a bad idea to take financial advice from someone who is not successful.
Those who have the humility and self reflection give much more relatable advice for the average young person trying to build up their life.
The important part is they are telling you to do differently than what they did.
Torontonians don't screw this up. There's a chance of getting rid of this dancing embarrassment to the city.
Latest poll shows Bradford pulling ahead of Chow for the first time.
Strong support across Etobicoke, Scarborough and North York.

UBI should be a goal that must be earned, not an entitlement.
We should work towards a advancing to state where UBI is sustainably viable instead of prematurely forcing taxpayers to cover the costs of implementing it now.
In a state where UBI becomes viable, there will be no need for social security, minimum wage or any form of welfare as those are all covered by the UBI.
And unlike our current system of welfare and progressive taxes, the UBI itself does not penalize you for working more. It is incentive neutral and is the most capitalistic solution.
Universal Basic Income is a substantial improvement on non-universal basic welfare that incentivizes people by rewarding them the more unproductive they are.
And only giving it to your own citizens is a substantial improvement compared to giving it to foreigners who take advantage of your good graces, or even worse use it against your country.
